Snr Mobile Developer (IOS) at Flash Group

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Support and enhance an established, multi-faceted technology platform and associated third-party integrations.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Team Leads, and Product Managers to fulfill business requirements.
• Provide work estimates based on analyzed business and technical requirements.
• Work closely with QA to identify and address development and production issues.
• Ensure that changes are:
  • Unit and integration tested
  • Documented
  • Optimized to meet performance benchmarks
• Assist with out-of-hours production releases and provide support as needed.
• Support and mentor team members.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development.
• Passion for technology, enthusiasm for problem-solving, and a commitment to continuous learning and skill improvement.
• Experience with enterprise-scale application stacks.
• Exposure to the full software development lifecycle.

Analysis and Design:

• Sound knowledge of object-oriented (OO) design principles and patterns.
• Understanding of Android and/or iOS development.
• Familiarity with Microservices, REST, and MVC/MVVM-driven mobile development.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Kotlin for Android and/or Swift for iOS.
• Experience with Android and/or iOS app store deployment processes.
• Strong Git skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with setting up CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Ability to maintain and enhance project-related documents.
• Strong code analysis skills.
• Ability to work calmly and methodically under pressure.

Advantageous:

• Knowledge of Identity Server authentication.
• Experience with Android JetPack.
• Familiarity with Postman.
• Experience with Flutter.
