    Social Media Community Manager

    MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

    The Social Media Influencer manager is responsible for recruiting and manager influencer content, rollout, contracts and reporting. The role may also span over into social media community management. The Community Manager is responsible for the management of social media activities across social channels for a variety of clients. She will plan and execute the organic and content calendars as well as manage the comments, questions and mentions that occur across these channels. In collaboration with cross-functional teams, our community manager will be essential to ensuring that social media strategies are aligned with the client’s objectives. To be ideal for this role, our candidates have already decided on a career in copywriting, blogging, social media and/or digital PR. In addition they are highly motivated to continue learning and growing in the field.

    DESCRIPTION OF FIELD OF DUTY (KPA’s):

    • Conceptualising content, writing copy then briefing the content into the design studio
    • Creating, managing, and executing social media marketing campaigns which includes loading and scheduling content into content sharing tool and/or natively
    • Monthly reporting on what worked and what didn’t, paid media and sharing any other valuable consumer insights with client
    • Maintaining social accounts daily while concurrently planning weeks in advance
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal team, clients and any social media influencers

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    • Excellent command of English language
    • Super organised with a strong attention to detail
    • Proficient in deriving insights from content performance
    • Social media ad management experience highly desirable
    • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    • Basic technical knowledge is a plus (HTML, reading ASP, PHP code...)
    • Knowledge and experience writing video scripts and briefing in rich content
    • Experience with pptx, Kontentino, HubSpot and Workbook.
    • Willingness to work evening and weekend when necessary
    • Bonus would be someone who understands the trends, avid newsreader – is with the times
    • Willingness to constantly learn new skills and adapt to new tools/channels as needed
    • Openness to doing other digital administrative tasks as arise including social media outreach and influencer management
    • Excellent attention to details is a MUST, shortlisted candidates will be given a test

    WORK EXPERIENCE:

    • Minimum 4 years’ experience in agency and client facing
    • Influencer management experience a bonus

    SALARY RATE:

    • R200 - R250 PER HOUR

    Please note: Cape Town based candidates will also be considered.
