Social Media Content Curator (12 Months Contract) – REF: JW392EX/2024 at Johannesburg Water

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Generate relevant content, such as graphics, videos, infographics and other multimedia elements. Working with departments and depots, coordinate and collate specific content for campaigns. Monitor daily interactions on social media platforms. Gather analytics, metrics and trends, proposing remedial actions for social media optimisations and improvements.
• Develop copy intended to market key aspects of Johannesburg Water, special projects and campaigns. Timeously responding to social media queries and logging calls through the Johannesburg Water Call Centre. Ensure consistent brand messaging and tone across all social media channels.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Essential qualifications and experience:

• NQF 6 qualification in one of the fields of journalism, digital marketing, graphic design, or related field
• Two or more years of social media experience including planning and curating content in a corporate, or agency setting.
• Familiarity with content creation tools, photo and video editing software, and basic graphic design principles.
• Demonstrate experience in social media campaigns
