Plan, develop, implement, and manage the overall (but not limited to) Social Media strategy
Allocate and manage ad spend across all relevant digital platforms
Engage with each platforms audience
Work closely with Creative Director, PR Team, internal copywriting and creative teams to align digital efforts with both long-term and short-term vision
Collaborate with the PPC team to understand trends and audience shifts
Analyse reports from Social Media, PPC, PR, and Reservations to shape a 3-month strategy, identify successful approaches and review current trends
Develop an annual strategy for long-term goals and a flexible 3-month plan for adaptability
Stay updated on travel and digital trends to integrate simultaneously.
Comprehend and address the unique goals of each department within Wilderness, such as increasing bookings for a destination or boosting traction on recent PR features
Measure the efficiency and effectiveness of each digital platform to ensure alignment with Wilderness's overall objectives.
Introduce and implement new technology to reach a more targeted audience across multiple platforms and global locations.
Requirements:
Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
Proven experience working as a Social Media Manager, preferably in the conservation or hospitality industry.
In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube, and their respective best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling content for social media platforms.
Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on engaging and captivating social media content creation.
Experience with social media management tools, analytics platforms, and advertising
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment of social media strategies with organizational objectives.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple social media platforms and campaigns simultaneously.
Proficiency in photo and video editing software is a plus.
