Core Description (Duties & Responsibilities) To code and debug new software products in alignment with BCX’s standards. To work on less complex projects or modules of projects while possibly coordinating the activities and controlling the standards of less experienced programmers.
- Applications Support
- Business Analysis
- Database Administration
- Documentation/ Technical Authoring
- Software Installation
- Porting Software Integration
- Programming/ Software Creation
- Conduct Research/Investigation
- Systems Testing
- Apply principles of creating computer software by developing a complete program to meet given business needs
- Design a computer program for system software
- Create software solutions for applications using object-oriented programming
Required Certification/Professional Registration Basic certification in operating systems optional/ Basic software development language certification

Qualification Grade 12, NQF Level 4

Experience 2-5 years relevant experience
