Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify and analyse defects. Log defects and track defect resolution.

• Create and maintain test cases and add to Regression test suite.

• Maintain quality assurance environment.

• Perform manual feature testing

• Troubleshooting, support, problem-solving and analysis

• Compliance with procedures and processes

• Perform successful software backups

Technical Skills (Other Requirements)

• Software testing experience

• knowledge of SQL and scripting

• Experience in Agile methodologies

• Self-starter

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Deadline driven, able to work in a pressurised environment

• Compliance with procedures and processes

• Must be able to work well as part of a team and independently

• Good analysis skills; Good problem-solving skills

• Must have a positive and professional attitude

• Good communication skills

• Linux /windows server

• J-Meter (or any other Performance testing tool)

• Jenkins

• Xwiki

• VMware (ESXI)

Educational Qualifications:

• National Senior Certificate

Professional Qualifications

• ISTQB certification

Years of Experience

• 3+ years formal testing experience

• 2+ years SQL
