    Spa Supervisor

    POSITION SUMMARY

We are recruiting for an enthusiastic individual with a positive attitude. Reporting to the Spa Management, the successful candidate will be required to fullfil a supportive role to the Spa management by assisting with the focus on associate wellbeing, upholding the exceptional service standards and quality of the Westin Cape Town Hotel; sales & maximization of revenue within the Heavenly Spa by Westin whilst living the ethos of The Westin Cape Town Culture and in accordance with Marriott International Policies and Procedures within a pressurized environment.

    Required Experience & Qualifications

    Relevant Spa related qualification 

    • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within in a 5-star Spa environment 
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative function 
    • Professional Disposition
    • Excellent Telephone etiquette 
    • Professional, positive and energetic demeanor
    • Strong Administrative skills
    • Excellent Planning and Organizing skills
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook 
    • Working knowledge of Spa booking and Hotel systems 
    • Required to work rostered shifts and irregular hours as per operational requirements
    • Flexible working hours as well as available to work weekends , Public holidays, opening and closing shifts when rostered as per operational requirements 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist the Spa Manager by ensuring the highest standards of service in the Spa is maintained and developed at all times
    • Assist with brand marketing of the spa and retail generation
    • Effectively co-ordinate and supervise the Front desk operations of the Spa as deemed necessary
    • Address and resolve both guest concerns and complaints.
    • Supervise the front desk reception employees
    • Work in accordance to the internal and external control procedures
    • Assist with Stock control and stock take administration and procedures 
    • Issuing out Stock to therapist as required and maintain records thereof
    • Co-ordinate group and individual bookings
    • Follow up on Maintenance issues
    • Ensure company policy and procedures are adhered to 
    • Complete all daily duties as set out as and when required.
    • Assist with the management of the Spa in the absence of the Spa Management
