Job Description    

• CCBA presents an exciting opportunity for a Specialist: Release & Platform IT to join the Technology Enablement team. The role will report to the Group Head: Technology Enablement.

Key Purpose:

• To establish and govern controlled, predictable and business-aligned release, environment and deployment practices across enterprise technology platforms, ensuring production changes are implemented safely while protecting platform stability, operational integrity and business continuity

Key Duties & Responsibilities    
Key Outputs and Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

• Release Planning & Governance: Establish and govern enterprise release management processes and schedules.
• Environment Management: Ensure development, testing and production environments are available, stable, appropriately utilised and effectively governed.
• Deployment & Cutover Management: Coordinate production deployments, cutovers and business-readiness activities.
• Platform Stability: Ensure releases and deployments minimise operational disruption and protect service stability.
• Risk, Compliance & Audit: Maintain release and environment processes that meet governance, risk and audit requirements.
• Software Lifecycle Management: Govern application lifecycles to ensure platforms remain supported, secure, fit for purpose and cost-effective.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination: Coordinate product, support, business and third-party teams during releases.
• Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Monitor release performance, operational risk and opportunities for increased automation.

Skills, Experience & Education    
Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline.
• ITIL Foundation advantageous.
• Release Management, DevOps or Agile certification advantageous.

Experience

• 5+ years’ experience in Release Management, Environment Management, Platform Operations or IT Service Delivery.
• Experience managing enterprise application releases and deployments.
• Experience working across development, testing, support and business teams.
• Experience with enterprise ERP, CRM or similar platforms.
• Experience with governance, compliance and audit requirements.
• Experience managing vendors and third-party service providers.
