    Stakeholder Relations Specialist-Patterson Grade D3

    Key Performance Output

    The successful candidate, reporting to the Group Manager Brand Marketing and Stakeholder Management will be responsible for the following:

    • Develop a Stakeholder Relations Strategy to guide ACSA wide engagements.
    •  Follow an integrated Stakeholder Relations approach, using standard tools and practices to provide aligned interactions with all Stakeholders.
    • Compile agenda, develop reports and contribute to the stakeholder relations forum.
    • Support forum members in stakeholder mapping and formulating and tracking annual engagement plans.
    • Accountable for operational team performance through effective management within policies and procedures to ensure achievement of standards/objectives.
    • Provide input into workforce planning and implement approved labour plans to ensure team is suitably staffed to meet sub-functional objectives.
    • Manage people development initiatives, succession planning and talent management to meet functional performance standards.
    • Coach team and create a pro-learning environment. Assess team development needs and close gaps.
    • Implement Stakeholder Relations Strategy to guide ACSA wide engagements.
    • Communicate Stakeholder Relations guidelines to the entire organisation.
    • Provide training to organization on Stakeholder relations.
    • Manage allocated Stakeholder Relations budget and report regularly to the Stakeholder Relations Lead.
    • Compile, implement and monitor OPEX budget.
    • Develop appropriate strategies to maximise a stakeholder’s positive influence and minimize any negative influence thus managing risk
    • Implement measurement mechanism.
    • Develop joint initiatives to protect the reputation and integrity of ACSA.

     

    Technical Skills and Experience

    The following skills and experience will be required: 

    •  Bachelors Degree (3 years - 360 credits) in Marketing / Communications/Public Relations is essential.
    • Honour’s Degree in Marketing / Communications/Public Relations is advantageous.
    • 5 - 7 years Operational experience in Corporate Affairs is essential.
    • 3 - 5 years Operational experience Stakeholder Management
    • Must be proficient in MS Office packages.
    • Code B Driver’s license is essential.
