Student Recruitment Officer at Vaal University of Technology

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

• To recruit quality students in line with VUT Enrolment Plans

Key performance areas include but are not limited to:

• Implement policies and procedures pertaining to communication and marketing for students.
• Conduct student administration activities
• Conduct career exhibitions and career expos for purposes of student recruitment
• Develop and implement annual programme for targeted student recruitment areas.
• Organise, co-ordinate and attend open days.
• Plan, organise and co-ordinate campus visits by prospective students.

APPLICATION CRITERIA:
Qualification and Experience:

• M + 3 in Communications/ Public Relations/Administration/ Marketing or related field
• 3 years relevant experience in Higher Education institution

Skills and Competencies:

• Computer literacy (MS suite)
• Excellent communication skills
• Professional presentation skills
• Social media skills
• Valid driver’s license (both automatic and manual a must)
• Organizational skills
