    Supervisor Protection Services

    Minimum Required Qualification:

    • Registration with PSIRA as a Security Officer Grade A
    • Do you have Firearm Competency?
    • NQF 6 (Diploma or Advanced Certificate) in Security Management or Law Enforcement.
    • Valid driver’s license.
    • Do you have NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate

    The Appointee should:

    • NQF 6 (Diploma or Advanced Certificate) in Security Management or Law Enforcement.
    • At least 5 years’ experience in Protection Services / Asset Protection.
    • Medically fit to work in the specific business area.
    • Do you have a clear security screening record.
    • Valid driver’s license.
    • Do you have Firearm Competency?
    • Do you have NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate

    Advantageous Qualifications:

    • NQF 6 (Diploma or Advanced Certificate) in Security Risk Management or Security Management or Law Enforcement related qualification.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Stay informed on latest security technologies; monitor systems and recommend improvements. Enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and security rules; ensure compliance by security personnel. Conduct monthly security vulnerability assessments and daily inspections; propose enhancements. Implement security strategies, standards, and programs to mitigate risks. Ensure proactive action on reported cases to prevent recurrence and losses. Assist with internal/external audits and regulatory assessments. Apply fair disciplinary and grievance procedures; maintain healthy industrial relations. Manage protection infrastructure and design cost-effective security solutions. Participate in planning meetings; share insights based on experience. Control costs, eliminate waste, and report deviations. Oversee collection and safeguarding of evidence and exhibits
    • Ensure compliance with Sibanye-Stillwater policies, security procedures, SOPs, and post orders. Identify and update outdated or redundant security procedures to address evolving threats. Manage technological aspects of security within the sector during shifts.
    • Presents information to management in the form of reports and provides advice based on specialist knowledge by compiling reportsbased information received, scrutinizing submitted reports from the Operations and providing feedback
    • Identify and report all safety and security incidents
