Minimum Requirements
Matric
Tertiary education not a mandatory requirement but will advantageous
At least 4- 5 years experience in the hydraulic or associated industries
Working knowledge in the servicing and commissioning of hydraulic systems
Good timekeeping and dedication to the team
Attention to detail
Good communication and people skills
Willing to work overtime and assist with other general stores function
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
Must be an out of the box thinker, always showing initiative
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage the daily primary responsibility of service resources.
Service and expanding our existing customer base.
Supervise the Service Department and achieve sales targets.
Site evaluations of Service Technicians.
Identify training requirements of Service Technicians.
Ability to negotiate at Senior Levels with a view to promoting service contracts and system upgrades.
Maintaining up to date knowledge of our hydraulic product range.
Manage and motivate team members to deliver quality service in accordance with contractual requirements.
Initiating, planning and executing of service jobs and shutdowns.
Ability to perform on site fault finding on hydraulic systems and equipment.
