Seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to collaborate with the Head Chef in managing food stock and handling a variety of ingredients with precision and attention to quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Japanese cuisine and play a key role in establishing our reputation as a premier Japanese restaurant in the area.
Requirements:
Matric; Culinary Diploma preferred.
Approximately 4 years of experience in a senior chef role.
Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in an Asian restaurant.
Strong knowledge of various sushi types and sushi-rolling techniques.
Own transport with a valid driver’s license.
Ability to work both quickly and accurately.
Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
