Sustainability Coordinator - Bryanston at Nestle

Position Summary

• Develop and implement the Nespresso South Africa sustainability strategy and pillar to support the achievement of the company's strategic objectives.
• Participate actively in the sustainability actions on the field areas. Development and responsible management of sustainability initiatives, creating and proposing innovative solutions adapted to the national market, ensuring alignment with global brand guidelines, aiming for improvements and synergies for greater impact.
• Develop sustainability projects, analyze feasibility of implementation, define internal processes and control budgets.
• Ensure effective communication, both internal and external, to boost Nespresso's perception of quality and sustainable attributes.

A day in the life of a Nespresso Sustainability Coordinator

• To promote a culture of Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility based on ethics for the internal and external public - Develop and implement employee engagement projects for recycling and sustainability
• Develop and implement effective 360 communication plan, involving all impacted channels, generating content relevant to PR and marketing
• Ensure the articulation of sustainability projects with other strategic projects.
• Influencing the sustainability theme is part of the company's strategy discussions consistently
• Establish dialogue with internal stakeholders (Nespresso and Nestlé) and HQ, seeking synergies and alignment of planned and ongoing projects.
• Build and nurture external and inter-sectoral partnerships, being a reference person to conduct guidelines for communication and communication with the public sector, associations, class entities related to the theme
• Search and give internal visibility of pioneering projects of sustainability in the market, challenging Nespresso to always act with innovations and improvements in this area.
• Develop and implement innovative solutions to strengthen Nespresso's sustainable performance

What will make you successful

• Bachelor's Degree in Economic management majoring in Communication or Sustainability/ Environmental Studies
• 2 – 3 years’ experience within a similar role
• Skilled in communicating with various levels of stakeholders in the company and enthusiastic about driving change and mobilizing people.
• Availability to travel locally
• Strong project management competence and desire to deliver tangible results.
• Knowledge and interest of sustainability concepts, best practices.
