    Talent & Performance Specialist

    MAIN PURPOSE:

    The Talent and Performance Management Specialist's primary role responsibilities will be to manage the organisation’s development, performance and retention of people and talent, with a heightened focus on managing talent and performance practices of WFS.

    KEY COMPETENCIES:

    • The Talent and Performance Specialist will manage the talent and performance practice at an enterprise level of the business to ensure that employees and line leaders have all the necessary tools and resources to support individual and business outcomes.
    • The focus is on being an employee champion to help employees achieve their full potential, improving employee satisfaction and retention rates, and improving overall engagement and discretionary performance aligned with the business strategy.
    • The key responsibilities include creating and implementing talent and performance management strategies, identifying top talent within the organization, managing employee development programs, and supporting the business to raise performance standards to become a high-performing organisation.
    • To use data-driven processes to analyze WFS’s workforce and to identify areas where capability gaps may exist. The key objectives are to help create and implement strategies to manage performance and capabilities, helping to ensure a competitive edge for WFS.
    • An integral part of the role is about understanding the company’s strategy and devising performance and talent plans to enable business to become an employer of choice and being competitive in the market with a forward-looking view to enable and shape its future.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Identifies and develops talent and performance strategies.
    • Manages performance evaluations and coaching.
    • Implements and monitors retention programs.
    • Oversees Hipo development plans and facilitate fast-tracking programmes.
    • Analyze workforce data and make recommendations for improvements and talent strategies.
    • Collaborates with P&C BPs and business line leaders.
    • Advises management on best practices in talent management and performance management.
    • Leads diversity and inclusion initiatives.
    • Maintains compliance with all relevant governance and regulations.
    • Manages the performance and talent cyclical calendar processes and practices.
    • Manage succession planning to ensure readiness programmes are aligned to the business strategy.
    • Implement fit for purpose assessment models and frameworks to align and enable the talent strategy and business needs.
    • Proactively analyse data and provide insights to inform people decisions.
    • Develop and implement talent and performance system changes to enable efficiencies across the practices.
    • Design and implement best of breed performance and talent frameworks, models and processes to support the business.
    • Collaborate closely with all COEs to align on the appropriate solutions to meet bespoke talent requirements.
    • Conduct performance analysis to assess and recommend solutions to business to remediate performance.
    • Manage and lead Performance improvement processes to enable and drive standards of performance.
    • Align with the EE plan and TEB strategic implementation to ensure that talent and performance barriers are addressed.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences or a related field.

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    • 5-8 years experience in the Talent or Performance specialist field.
    • Relevant work experience in employee development and engagement, and leadership development.
    • Competencies include strong communication and interpersonal skills, strategic thinking and planning abilities, an analytical mindset, and knowledge of relevant HR technologies and tools.
