Technical Sales Representative - Johannesburg East
A Grade 12 certificate or a National Technical Certificate N3 (Technical).
Possession of an Engineering Trade Test to understand technical products but not essential
Technical aptitude is more important for this role than a qualification.
Experience
Minimum of three years in an external sales representative role.
A solid mechanical foundation with 5-10 years of relevant experience
Acumen in both direct and distributor sales, with a deep understanding of industrial products
Technical/engineering/mining/manufacturing environment background experience and be hungry for business
Key Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional customer service to assigned accounts.
Provide expert engineering support for product inquiries.
Lead the sales and service efforts for designated products.
Foster and expand customer relationships while securing new orders.
Cultivate positive client relationships at all levels.
Negotiate long-term supply contracts and partnerships.
Guide the Finance Director/Sales Manager on sales objectives, striving to augment both the order book and sales volume with existing and prospective clients.
