Temp Tutor | Bellville | R8000 Per Month at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• Area: Bellville
• Children’s Ages: 15 year old (Grade 9) – main focus & 10 year old (Grade 3) – Girls
• Working hours: Tuesday, Wednesday 13:00 – 17:00 and Friday 12:00 – 16:00
• School holiday hours: Not required (unless extra assistance is required for exams, etc.)
• Duties: Provide afternoon academic support primarily to a Grade 9 learner enrolled on the CambriLearn platform. Duties include overseeing and ensuring that all daily coursework and assignments in Mathematics, English, Science, Commerce, and History are completed, assisting with subject-related questions, and providing guidance in areas where additional academic support is required. The role also involves helping the learner stay organised, monitor progress, and ensure she is adequately prepared for tests and exams. Ad hoc academic assistance may also be required for a Grade 3 learner from time to time.
• Special Requirements: Female, English speaking, has studied/ worked on Cambridge curriculum previously (Cambrilearn platform preferably). Able to relate and help both the 15 year old and the 10 year old.
• Curriculum: Cambridge Curriculum
• Start Date and contract term: June – November 2026 (possibility of extension and renewal)
• Salary: R8000pm (Gross, before deductions) 

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
