    Temporary Administrator

    Job Description

    • Faircape Health forms part of the Faircape Group, a diversified group of companies with interests across Healthcare, Retirement Living, Property Management, Construction, Renewable Energy, Water Utilities, Telecommunications, and related services.
    • Faircape Health provides professional healthcare services within our retirement and healthcare facilities, focusing on quality care, operational efficiency, and a supportive environment for residents and healthcare professionals.
    • We are seeking a Temporary Administrator to provide administrative support within the healthcare department at Heritage Manor in Somerset West
    • The successful candidate will assist with data capturing, stock management, and general administrative duties to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of healthcare services.
    • This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organisational skills, experience in stock control, and the ability to work accurately within administrative and healthcare systems.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Accurately capture and maintain healthcare-related data and records within internal systems
    • Monitor, capture, and maintain stock records for medical and healthcare supplies
    • Assist with stock control processes including tracking, counting, and reporting stock levels
    • Capture stock usage and ensure stock records remain accurate and up to date
    • Assist with replenishing healthcare stock and supplies when required
    • Maintain organised and accurate administrative documentation and filing systems
    • Support the healthcare team with scheduling, documentation, and coordination tasks
    • Ensure data accuracy and integrity when capturing information into systems and spreadsheets
    • Communicate with internal teams to ensure smooth administrative workflows
    • Assist with general office duties including document preparation and record management
    • Capture and maintain month-end billing information on the billing sheet to ensure accurate healthcare billing records
    • Conduct incontinent stock counts with the Clinic Manager, manage daily issuing of stock, and capture all usage for billing purposes

    Requirements

    Qualifications & Knowledge

    • Matric / Grade 12 qualification
    • Relevant administrative experience within a healthcare, medical, or similar environment will be advantageous

    Preference will be given to candidates with experience or interest in:

    • Data capturing and administrative record management
    • Stock control and stock management processes
    • Monitoring and replenishing stock levels
    • Excel and basic spreadsheet management
    • Computer systems and general office software

    Sound knowledge of:

    • Administrative processes and recordkeeping
    • Stock control procedures and inventory management
    • Basic reporting and data capturing accuracy
    • General office administration practices

    Skills and Attributes 

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when capturing data
    • Good organisational and administrative skills
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured and efficient manner
    • Computer literate with working knowledge of Excel 
    • Clear written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
    • Reliable and responsible with a strong work ethic
    • Professional approach when handling confidential healthcare information
    • Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records
