UI/UX Designer at Discovery Limited

Key Purpose

• To work with product, business, marketing and other teams to create high quality conceptual designs and superior user interfaces across multiple platforms as required. Deliver all UI assets ready for development teams.
• Inform design decisions by gathering member information from research, member interviews, user testing and surveys and synthesizing the information for useful insights.

Key Outputs

UI Design

• Create conceptual and creative UI solutions for web and mobile projects utilizing branding and design standards that meet business and user requirements.
• Work with teams to share design principles, answer queries on functional UI aspects and drive the design of the product from concept to implementation.
• Adherence to and development of UI standards and CI to ensure that standards are recorded and shared amongst team members.

UX

• Evaluate the effectiveness of user interfaces to determine if the known and unarticulated needs have been met.
• Plan, design and execute quantitative and qualitative user testing that includes interviews, focus groups and contextual enquiry.
• Analyze user research and testing results and share outcomes and recommendations with the business team
