    Visual Merchandising Manager

    Your main areas of responsibility will include the following:

    • C2 ownership at brand level
    • Retail sales co-ownership
    • Clearly communicating all business justifications with global teams for quick approval
    • Collaborating and influencing global VM teams regarding style and content of the global toolbox
    • Creating and implementing a VM strategy for SA that focuses on ROI
    • Forecasting for all required VM non-saleables
    • Ensuring national VM and visual rights compliance in line with Fashion House requirements
    • Production and roll out of all VM updates (visual changes, generic shelf tools, blotter cards, shelf strips, retailer specific requirements)
    • Maintaining an accurate in store database with detailed visual requirements
    • Plannogram management with Ops teams and relevant retail partners
    • Managing inventory levels & master data of all VM non-saleables
    • Facilitating quarterly VM training
    • Owner of effectively communicating VM & planogram updates to Ops, AMs & Bas to ensure globally complaint execute across the full estate
    • Effectively communicating VM activities across multiple functions
    • Managing the VM budget
    • Building effective working relationships with key suppliers and global contacts
    • Managing inventory levels & master data of all non-saleable goods

    Candidate Requirements

    • Relevant Degree
    • Minimum 3 years management experience in an equivalent role in the retail industry
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • An understanding of trends and an ability to respond to customers’ wishes
    • Creativity and an ability to produce innovative and original ideas
    • Experience in POS creative development and print production
    • Strong knowledge of material specifications and technical drawing specs
    • Experience in artwork layouts and dimensions

    Team working skills

    • The ability to manage and allocate budgets
    • Written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience with and an understanding of market research
    • Time and project management skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
    • An ability to think strategically and come up with campaigns.
