Weighbridge Operator at Omnia (Pty) LTD

ROLE IMPACT

• Omnia's Agriculture division, a global organisation is the market leader in Southern Africa. The division produces granular, liquid and speciality fertilizers and a whole host of value-added services for a broad customer base of farmers, co-operatives and distributing globally to a further 40 countries throughout Southern and East Africa, Australia, New Zealand, US, and Brazil. The Omnia Agriculture division's range of specialised products and services are encompassed by its unique Nutriology® offering, which assists customers to optimise crop yield and quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• To understand the functioning of the operating system,
• To accurately record and weigh all the inbound and outbound loads on the operating system which includes all raw materials and final products,
• To ensure that any weight deviation is recorded in the road variance report book and that corrective actions are taken immediately,
• To prepare reports when requested by Supervisors/Management, To maintain the admin systems at the weighbridge,
• To efficiently handle all internal and external customer queries,
• To maintain professional customer relations at all times.
• Responsible for accurate distribution of fertilizer

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• National Senior Certificate (Matric)

Experience

• Previous experience in the same or similar role

• Detail orientated,
• Excellent organisational skills,
• Excellent communication skills (Bilingual - English and Afrikaans),
• Ability to handle stress,
• Team player MS Office
