The role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service in line with the restaurant and resort's standards while promoting sales through effective upselling.
The position requires excellent product knowledge, professional communication, teamwork, and a commitment to maintaining high service standards and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare all service areas and ensure mise en place is completed before service begins.
Provide professional food and beverage service, including presenting menus and wine lists.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of menu items, beverages, and resort offerings.
Use upselling techniques to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
Manage stock requisitions, control wastage, and minimize breakages.
Ensure accurate billing and verify guest checks before presentation.
Handle guest complaints professionally and resolve issues according to resort procedures.
Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and personal presentation.
Follow all health, safety, fire, emergency, and company policies.
Communicate guest feedback to management and contribute to service improvements.
