    Wind Plant Technician
    Description

    Enel Green Power is seeking for a Wind Plant Technician to join its Operation and Maintenance department.

    What will you do:

    • Ensure the optimal operation and maximize the production of power plants.
    • Coordinate the plant activities with service providers and site personnel in general.
    • Follow up maintenance activities to ensure maintenance plans are applied according equipment specifications and EGP needs. 
    • Keep track of plant spare part inventory and coordinate with main service providers to keep at plant level all components needed for corrective maintenance.
    • Use EGP provided software tools such as SAP, SAS, CKS, SCADA, JIRA, HSEQ4U to document, review and analyse activities to maximize productivity on site.
    • Perform site, substations and wind turbine inspections for inspection campaigns, work done, progress and work assessments.
    • Work in full communication with EGP head office and use technical departments support. Be proactive and encourage plant team to look for innovative solutions and procedures for O&M.
    • Work to meet and improve plant KPIs such as availability, plant production, Zero accidents, budgets for plant O&M cost, and others.
    • Ensure that plant activities are performed following EGP safety, environmental and quality rules and procedures without exceptions.
    • Ensure compliance with Legal, Safety and Environment requirements
    • Proactively report regularly and promptly any issues that may arise relating to site activities, safety, operations, maintenance and contractual.
    • Link the data detected by the systems (SCADA, control rooms etc.) to the events occurred in the power plants
    • Monitor the power plants status, in coordination with Local Control Room.
    • Local stakeholders management
    • Work in full communication with EGP head office, technical and support departments.
    • Be proactive and encourage plant team to look for innovative solutions and procedures for O&M.
    • Work to meet plant KPIs such as availability, plant production, Zero accidents, budgets for plant O&M cost, and others.
    • Generate and timeously provide documented quality assurance on all work performed on site.
    • Timeously deliver prescribed reports to the O&M stakeholders.

    Qualifications

    Who you are :

    • Preferably degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
    • At least 3 years of experience in the electrical industry. Strong background in the energy sector and in generation field, preferably in renewable (wind)
    • Experience in renewable power plants Operation & Maintenance

    What we search in you:

    Quality Assurance Engineer

    Description

    Enel Green Power is seeking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join its Engineering and Construction department.

    The successful candidate will ensure the implementation of the Organisation IQMS across all the processes of the project's life cycle by the Project Team members and by main Suppliers and Contractors and will lead the dissemination of new functionalities and new tools implemented in the Organization knowledge management system and also disseminate the Organisation Knowledge Asset (policy, procedures, work instructions, Lesson Learned, Outcome of Audits, Continuous Improvement activities) to all the Team members appointed for a specific project while performing his duties into the team.

    What you will do:

    • Control the effective implementation of the quality management system by main Suppliers/Contractors while performing the Works by means of II Party Audits (directly perfomed by the position or supported by third party or by himself), assess any NCs arisen from these audits (by defining correctvive actions with the Project Team members) up to their resolution
    • Maintain the NCs Register updated and supervise resolution of NCs; lead the organization of  root - causes analisys by the Project Team members in order to evaluate the need for action to eliminate the causes in order that it doesn’t not recur anymore.
    • Set up, monitor and maintain updated the Contractors / Suppliers Quality Book and collaborate with the Project team members to assure the documents are issued and validated in time for the execution of the respective activities
    • Periodically organize Quality Meetings with the team members for verifying the proper implementation of the processes for producing the deliverables, report/analyse findings of II parties Audits performed to the Contractors/Suppliers, to assess the status of the NCs (revising the closing dates based on the progress of the Works), assess the status of the Contractors/Suppliers Project Quality Plan and its Annexes validation (revising the deadlines based on the progress of the Works and assuring that the deliverables will be available to the relevant Unit in charge of the Quality Inspections & Tests)
    • Support the team members during the tender process by preparing the documentation to be included in the tender package and by contributing in the technical evaluation of the offers (limited to the assurance of a proper quality management system by the Bidders)
    • Support the site team members in the implementation of quality requirements on site, leading site self assessment, performing specific trainings on quality management processes/tools/specifications and monitorning the availability of quality control records on site.
    • Measure Quality KPIs and share them with the team members in order to analyze the impact on the project’s objectives and define the corrective actions;
    • Disseminating and gathering Lesson Learned consulting the Project Team members as well as Contractors / Suppliers
    • Collect feedbacks from Team Members  for improving processes in order to enhance continuous improvement into the Organisation
    • Calculate and assess the Quality Mangement System Score of Contractors / Suppliers and plan in collaboration with Project Team members actions for risk prevention and mitigations
    • Support the project's teams members in using any tools implemented in the Organisation Platform in order to assure the achievement of the project's objectives
    • Disseminate and enhance utilization of Global Tools and Data and Document Management Platforms new or already in place for sharing Global Organisation Knowledge Asset and Continuous Improvement

    Qualifications

    Who you are :

    • Bachelors in engineering (Electrical or Mechanical); MS a plus
    • Applicable knowledge/certification of Quality Management System standard
    • Certification of Lead Auditor ISO 9001 preferred
    • Knowledge of renewable energy production plants, Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) processes
    • 2-5 years of experience in Renewable Construction Industry ( Quality Dpt, Construction Dpt, Engineering Dpt)
    • Fluent English is required, Spanish and/or Italian preferred
    • Valid Driver's license
    • Knowledge of informatics:
    • Basic informatic knowledge
    • Microsoft Office
    • SharePoints and/or other Documentation Management System

    Project Manager

    The Project Manager will be the key accountable of the project execution team managing the execution of Wind, Solar and BESS projects and guarantying the delivery of them on time, cost, quality and safety. Moreover, the resource will be in charge to support the business development unit for new projects under development and shall collaborate with the O&M unit until the project completion and handover is reached with a safe and reliable operation of the plants. In consideration of the complexity of the projects, the PM can be assigned to more than one project at the same time.

    What will you do :

    • Assure the alignment of the project with the company’s strategy and business needs;
    • Guarantee that projects are carried out in compliance with ENEL targets of safety, time, cost and quality;
    • Assure project milestone targets are met in accordance with both CapEx and Production budgets;
    • Assure through digital platforms timely reporting towards the Company Management;
    • Enforce the company’s values (Trust, Responsibility, Innovation and Proactivity), its Code of Ethics, and its safety culture and standards as well as its sustainability values.
    • Manage the Project during all the phases: initiating, planning, execution, implementation, control & close;
    • Identify, coordinate and manage the main drivers of a project with the support of the relevant units team member within the project team* identifying and implementing any necessary preventive or corrective action;
    • Update the risks and opportunities analysis in terms of execution times, costs, production and performance with the support of the Risk Manager;
    • Promote the collection, sharing and adoption of lessons learned and best practices from project execution;
    • Organize/coordinate/attend the single/recurrent/extraordinary meetings with internal and external stakeholders;
    • Manage and coordinate multinational and multicultural project teams composed by 30 to 60 people and cultivate the relationships with their belonging units;

    • Manage suppliers and contractors in collaboration with Contract Management and Expediting & Logistic units and in coordination with Construction and Procurement units;
    • Support Business Development during all the phases of the assessment of new potential projects opportunities;

    • Coordinate with the O&M global and the O&M Area/Country along the entire project execution to ensure an adequate hand over;
    • Manage the relationship with the main stakeholders both internals (AFC, Legal, CSV, Innovation, etc.) and externals (suppliers, contractors, local communities and administrations, etc.).

    Qualifications

    Who you are:

    At least 2 significant experiences with a minimum of cumulative 4 years in other units of E&C such as:

    • Contract Management or Exp&Log;
    • Planning and Control;
    • Project Engineering;
    • Commissioning or Construction.

    Minimum of 2 years experience in a different Department of the value chain of GPG (e.g.: BD, O&M or Procurement) will be considered as a plus.

    What we search in you :

    • Skilled in project management practices (PMP certification or equivalent is a plus);
    • Comprehensive understanding of Project Economics such as financing, profitability, ratios and relevant thresholds, insurance coverage, etc;
    • Experience developing and maintaining budgets across project life cycle;

    Senior Accountant

    Description

    Enel Green Power is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Administration team, based in Johannesburg, to support Enel Green Power’s Finance activities of the external bookkeepers and ensuring full compliance with IFRS principles both for Group and Statutory purposes, Group procedures and best practices.

    What you will do:

    • Prepare financial statements, business activity reports
    • Ensures timely and accurate monthly and annual financial reporting in line with group reporting standards and deadlines
    • Reviews monthly ledger account reconciliations
    • Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met
    • Overview of the activities performed by external accountants
    • Reviews and submits statutory returns (VAT, PAYE, Payroll)
    • Overview of SAP modules (Vendors / Sales / FI / Assets)
    • Reconciliation of accounts & preparation/verification of ledger entries, including consolidation ones
    • Assistance in the preparation of the monthly reporting packages & other reports/inquiries from Headquarters
    • Interaction with other departments in order to resolve issues arising from postings
    • Active participation in the uploading of legal entities in SAP & overall supervision of the relevant SAP modules
    • Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company
    • Experienced in financial reporting
    • Active participation in the uploading of legal entities from SAP to Hyperion group reporting system
    • Management and reconciliations of group accounts and follow up on the intercompany mismatches
    • Custodian of IFRS reporting with all local entities
    • Preparation of Statutory Financial Statement in term of IFRS and local GAAP
    • Review of work performed by accountants
    • Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained

    Qualifications

    • BCom Hons Accounting – essential
    • Qualified CA (SA) preferred
    • Sage Evolution / Sage 200
    • Articles from big 4 would be an advantageous
    • Managerial experience – people management
    • Very good working knowledge of IFRS
    • Very good working knowledge of SAP.
    • Very good working with Hyperion
    • Strong Information Technology systems experience
