    Documentation and Configuration Management Administrator

    JOB PURPOSE
    Responsible for control of company documents, storage, cataloging and retrieval of documents. Maintain the integrity of working documents and update documentation when revised.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Matric
    • Diploma in documentation control
    • Computer skills (MS Office package);
    • ISO 9001:2015 Standard requirements
    • CM Basic Training will be advantageous.
    • Good Documentation Control

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    Documentation Control

    • Follow established processes and procedures as approved for the Configuration Management functions
    • Register Product /Project numbers, Document Numbers, Form Numbers, Change Proposal Numbers, Change Order Numbers in an Excel Spread Sheets and latter register all of these Numbers in a Software Program Database
    • Perform data management linking documents to items for impact analysis that is to be used in the Technical Review meetings.
    • Register Change Proposals and compile an impact analysis of change for input to Technical Review Meetings. Arrange Technical Review meetings and compile Agenda’s for these meetings. Must compile Minutes of Technical Review Meetings.
    • Control of Batch certificates and linking to DigiSol QM

    CM Implementation Functions

    • Participate in Implementation Board Meetings representing Configuration Management
    • Must understand Product Breakdown Structures and how to build structures in the applicable PDM tool.
    • Understand the Fit, Form Function rule with Part/Numbering / Bin Numbers.

    CM Status accounting

    • Generate Reports on Baseline Documents for Products, Projects and Administration function and submit the reports to the applicable personnel.

    CM Verification and Validation Functions

    • Verify that all change tasks are completed, verify that change are made and submit changes into the Configuration Management database.
    • Ensure that the Configuration Management Process are strictly followed for data to be 100% correct before entering information into the Software Program Database
    • Enter updated documents into the Configuration Management Database and ensure that all links to Items, People, Material, Systems and Projects are maintained.

    CM Audit Functions

    • Perform Functional and Physical Audits on documentation and products

    SCASS Product Specialist - Surface - Kempton Park

    JOB PURPOSE

    • Technical specialized support on department products.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Matric
    • Trade - Electric, Electronic, and instrumentation or equivalent with two years of qualified experience.
    • Two - four years experience on related BU product lines and evaluated on a technical level of competency (completed all internal training).
    • Must be able to travel 40% of the time (2 days per week).

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Product Management

    • Existing products config management to latest spec – PBS
    • Quality req. – NCR’s, ECR, TB, WI, BOM updates - Coordinating of this
    • Coordinate or assist with testing of FW – ATP’s (Alpha/Beta)
    • Coordinate or assist with testing of Hardware – ATP’s (Alpha/Beta
    • Assists with technical training where required
    • Carrying out ad-hoc audits on area product support & site files
    • Where requested, assist with technical matters for support and projects
    • Review, update, create product manuals as required
    • Assist with product Alpha and Beta trials
    • Coordinate or assist with customer product trials/POC’s

    Product Marketing

    • Assist with creation of marketing content – Product brochures, presentations, social media etc.
    • Assist with customer presentations where required
    • Assist sales force with product training and/or customer interface meetings where required
    • Sound understanding of product solutions and roadmap of product evolution by understanding exactly why and how the solution is solving the client problem
    • Provide insight on market intelligence – Competitor solutions and Customer typical needs per sector.
    • Assist with product launch activities – Product demonstration, trial , POC, presentation, creating launch advertising content.

    Administration

    • Schedule daily time to answer or create necessary e-mails
    • Create time for document reviews
    • Create time for typical HR related weekly’s – Prompt petrol claims, leave expenses etc.
    • Prompt liaising with customers through emails or phone calls where required

    JOB PURPOSE

    • Providing comprehensive technical services for the efficient and safe operation of electronic technology for health, safety and productivity in the mining sector.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Diploma in electronics
    • Management Training
    • 10 years’ experience in electronics (hardware and software) and IT (hardware,networks and software)
    • 3 – 5 years’ experience in a leadership
    • Knowledge of company product

    Leadership
