    Branch Administrator - Ugu Branch

    MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    • To provide secretarial and administrative support to the Branch to ensure that day to day operations are effectively and efficiently coordinated.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Provide secretarial services to the Branch Office
    • Provide administrative support to the Branch Office
    • Procurement of goods and services
    • Implementation of effective filing system in the Branch Office

    REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION

    • Matric (NQF level 4) and a certificate in Administration (NQF Level 5)

    Business Advisor Level 2

    MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    • To provide business development services primarily to micro and small enterprises 

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Provide relevant business advisory services and information to micro and small enterprises
    • Conduct Business Diagnostics using relevant tools
    • Facilitate and manage the implementation of interventions and business growth strategies
    • Monitor and evaluate the improvement of client business position 

    REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

    • Matric (NQF level 4) and National Diploma (NQF Level 6) qualification in Business Management/Commerce/Engineering/ Project Management 

    REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

    • 3 – 5 years’ relevant work experience, where at least 2 years’ experience as a business consultant/manager/business owner

    •  Good understanding and knowledge of the small enterprise development sector

    Intern ICT: Service Desk

    MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    • The purpose of the internship programme is to provide appropriate and relevant work experience which is in line with the intern’s qualification 

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Define incident and service request classification schemes
    • Record, classify and prioritise requests and incidents
    • Verify, approve and fulfil service requests
    • Investigate, diagnose and allocate incidents
    • Resolve and recover from incidents
    • Close service requests and incidents

    Technician: ICT Support Services

    MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    • To provide technical support services for Seda hardware, software, telephony, backup and business application systems 

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Provide technical support service for the customers on hardware, software, network, IP telephony and operating system
    • Install and maintain approved software and hardware connecting users to networks and providing initial training
    • Participate in ICT strategic initiatives in line with Seda ICT strategic plan
    • Coordinate ICT Support Service procurement activities 

    REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

    • Matric (NQF Level 4) and a Diploma (NQF Level 5/ 12 months certificate) in Information and Communication Technology coupled with recognised industry certifications

    REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

    • 3 – 4 years’ experience in Information Communication Technology environment of which 2 years should have been performing Technical Support related functions

    INHERENT JOB REQUIREMENT
