    Marketer - JHB

    Duties (not an exhaustive list):

    • Plan, develop and create content (written, visual, video) for multiple channels including website, e-communication platforms, newsletters, social media and print
    • Become a brand custodian and create an online presence in line with the St Peter’s brand
    • Maintain and improve online advertising and SEO
    • Manage the reporting of key digital metrics to inform future marketing activity

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications and Experience

    • Relevant tertiary qualification
    • At least 5 years’ Marketing experience including work in a digital environment
    • Design and photography would be an advantage

    Maintenance Technicians

    Duties (not an exhaustive list):

    • Perform general maintenance, installation and repair work to facilities and amenities within the school - not limited to, electrical, plumbing, masonry, flooring, painting, and steel work.
    • Report all damaged and non-functional facility and amenity related items / areas to the Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Manager.
    • Inspect facilities and grounds for safety and security; identifies and reports hazardous conditions and facility maintenance needs to Maintenance Supervisor.
    • Follow safe working practices and make appropriate use of safety equipment and PPE as required

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications and Experience

    • Matric
    • Artisan Qualification would be an advantage
    • Proven experience in the maintenance/ building field
    • Skilled in electrical, plumbing, masonry, flooring, painting, and steel work

    Plumbing Technician - JHB

    Duties (not an exhaustive list):

    • Repair and maintenance of the campus plumbing network including freshwater reticulation, wastewater drainage systems, sewer systems, storm water drainage, hot and cold-water reticulation systems inside the buildings and understanding of the irrigation networks.
    • Plan, and monitor work of plumbing works.
    • Inspect and evaluate the condition of plumbing equipment in campus buildings and recommend corrective action.
    • Review all requests for plumbing maintenance work and decide on replacement or repair.
    • Review all requests for new installations, assist in designing installations and guide implementation.
    • Ensure installation and repairs are performed in accordance with South African National Standards (SANS) standards and codes.
    • Be familiar with costing for repairs, replacement, and installation of large and small plumbing systems.
    • Maintain safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including lifting, working in confined spaces, and working at heights.
    • This position is not limited to the plumbing trade. The incumbent will be required to perform general maintenance and handyman activities.

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications and Experience

    • Matric
    • Plumbing certification
    • A minimum of 5 years post-trade test hands-on plumbing experience
    • Experience working with plumbing tools, materials, and safe work practices.
    • Demonstrable knowledge of building maintenance
    • Demonstrable knowledge of both industrial and domestic water reticulation systems
    • Knowledge of relevant plumbing codes, legislation, regulations, installation & maintenance procedures
    • Working knowledge of heating and ventilation systems as well as appliances
    • Experience in reading blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems essential

    Boys School Intermediate Phase Teacher

    Duties (not an exhaustive list):

    • Teaching from grade 4 to 7 (dependent on experience) 
    • Mentor, support and develop intern teachers
    • Participate in extracurricular activities as required
    • Promotion of the St Peter's Prep Schools attributes and values
    • Teach according to the St Peter's Prep Schools Best Practice pedagogy 

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications and Experience:

    • Relevant Qualification
    • At least 3 years full-time experience teaching
    • SACE Registration
    • The ability to teach Boys' sports would be an advantage

    Marketing Administrator - JHB

    Duties (not an exhaustive list):

    • Team administration
    • Updating Communications platforms
    • Keep an audit of current stock and order gifting and branded collateral when required
    • Become a brand custodian, understanding the St Peter’s brand and ethos
    • To assist the Marketing Department with administrative Marketing tasks, as required
    • Serving as a face of Marketing
    • Helping identify Marketing trends and opportunities for innovation

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications and Experience

    • Relevant qualification
    • At least 3 years’ experience in an administrative role
    • Previous experience in a marketing environment would be advantageous
    • An interest in photography and/or design would be an advantage
