    Payment Operations Specialist

    New opportunities are available for Payment Operations Specialists to join our Operations team based in Cape Town. The purpose of this role is to assist with and resolve all Pay-In and Pay-Out Payment related queries and technical issues on all integrations /products that affect remittance transaction completion. The Payment Operations Specialists reports directly to the Payment Operations Supervisor.

    This position is responsible for liaising with Pay-In, Pay-Out partners and Mukuru departments in resolving any payment related queries.

    Duties And Responsibilities (include But Is Not Limited To)

    • Resolve Pay-In queries to ensure timeously release of the order
    • Resolve Pay-out partner queries
    • Ensure all tickets are actioned (resolved or noted) within the SLA given by Supervisor
    • Ensure due diligence/investigations are completed in accordance with SOP specifications
    • To ensure business continuity at all times
    • Own the communication with customer and stakeholder within the SLA of the business continuity process
    • Manage, control and assign user access to the pay-out system
    • To uphold the company brand
    • Always provide professional customer service and give information based on the training received
    • Maintain knowledge of all company products
    • To manage own professional and self-development

    Minimum Requirements

    • Grade 12 / or equivalent (Essential)
    • Degree/diploma (Desirable)
    • Understanding and speaking of English and one of the following languages – Portuguese, Sotho, Urdu/Bangla, Swahili, Mandarin (Malawin dialect) (Essential)
    • 1-2 years Customer Service Consultant experience (Essential)
    • 6 months experience with Valtari Software (Desirable)
    • Knowledge of money transfer procedures
    • Knowledge of online banking
    • Knowledge of Mukuru products
    • Knowledge of AML practices

    Senior Test Analyst

    About the job

    An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Test Analyst to join our Engineering Department based in Johannesburg. The purpose of this position is to test and validate new software to ensure the correct functionality and identify areas that requires modification. The Test Analyst reports directly to the Team Lead, with an indirect reporting line to the QA Manager.This position is responsible for testing new software projects and releases to ensure high quality delivery with no errors.

    Internal Liaison takes place with all departments. External liaison is not required.

    Duties And Responsibilities (Include But Is Not Limited To)

    • To liaise and work together with the Scrum team to ensure software requirements are achieved
    • Make use of the scrum technique for development and testing
    • Attend all Scrum planning, sprint, daily stand-up and retrospective meetings
    • Ensure delivery of whole project that meets the client/user’s requirements
    • Compile final report from stakeholders
    • To test software to ensure minimum down time
    • Action all tasks allocated in Jira and drag to completed when tested/block with comment if fault occurs
    • To manage own professional and self-development

    Key Requirements

    • Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential)
    • ISTQB / ISEB Foundation Level certification (Desirable)
    • 5 + years’ experience as a Test Analyst (Essential) which includes: Exposure to automation with strong manual testing skills (Essential); Experience in creating reusable test suites and cases; Experience in testing APIS, microservices (Essential); Experience in mobile testing e.g. Android, iOS (Essential); Experience working with JIRA (Essential)
    • Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium WebDriver and Postman (Desirable)
    • Experience in writing automated tests (Desirable)
    • Knowledge of various testing techniques
    • Knowledge of Agile methodologies
    • Specific knowledge of: Html, Javascript, Jira, Android, IOS and APIS
    • Knowledge of PHP programming
