    Client Consultant - Financial Intelligence Training

    Job Purpose

    • To drive upsell and cross sell of the Financial Intelligence Training Programme into the existing and prospective Marsh client base by supporting, engaging and training current Client Executives. Management and reporting on defined deliverables as defined by the business requirements and annual targets
       

    Financial Intelligence Training Functions

    • End to end programme management
    • Programme quotations, presentations and attendance at prospective client meetings
    • New client on-boarding and implementation. Including introductions, client handover meetings, programme implementation, annual agenda and aligned strategies.
    • Completion, adjustment requirements and signing of purchase orders and SLA. Internal handover to Finance.
    • Ongoing Support
    • Pipelines:
    • Update and manage prospective and activity pipelines
    • Reporting
    • Prepare and compile reports as required
    • Consultant incentive allocations, payment process and tracking
    • General Data: Monthly data collation, record keeping and analysis as pertains to Financial Intelligence Training activities
    • Financial Intelligence Training programme projects and campaigns
    • Design new campaigns and engagement programmes to drive uptake
    • Reporting
    • Marketing
    • Servicing
    • Ongoing support and service to FIT clients whether directly or through facilitation of third party providers
       

    Retail Financial Advisor Leads Submissions:

    • System capturing
    • Email submissions
    • Follow ups and management of turnaround times
    • Feedback
    • Provider recurring meetings
    • Escalations
    • Reporting on leads status
    • Monthly data collation
    • Manco reporting
    • Monthly and annual commission tracking & reporting
       

    General:

    • Answer phone calls and self-management of telephone account
    • Attend internal meetings and training as and when required
       

    Compliance Management:

    • Comply with all statutory and company regulations to protect clients and business interests
    • Adhere to MMB operating procedures; contribute to successful audit score
       

    People, learning and development:

    • Actively monitor own performance and meet individual targets as set out in performance scorecard
    • Acquire and maintain thorough level of product and regulatory knowledge as appropriate to the role.
       

    Competency Requirements of the Job:

    • Understanding of the employee benefits environment an advantage
    • Understanding of the National Credit Act and related legislation and regulations, beneficial and preferred
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge applicable to current tasks
    • Computer literate; intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Excellent administrative skills
    • Able to coordinate tasks and resources
       

    Required technical skills:

    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Strong project management skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Sales skills an advantage
    • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
       

    Essential qualifications:

    • Matric
    • RE studies an advantage
    • Further studies an advantage
       

    Required job related experience:

    • Consulting/Administration Experience
    • Presentation skills
    • Financial coaching background an advantage
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in related environments (financial coaching, employee benefits, banking).
