Key areas of responsibilities

• Source and qualify leads on the phone to ensure that only suitable sites are visited
• Make outbound phone calls to prospective clients
• Organize, schedule and manage the diaries of Sales Consultants across various regions
• Intelligent planning of routes and driving times for Sales Consultants, for time efficiency
• Meet targets with regards to new appointments and sales per Sales Consultant
• Obtain a thorough understanding of the geographical areas in which the Sales Consultants operate
• Log opportunities on a central CRM system and in the Sales Consultants’ diaries
• Manage the CRM system to ensure all leads are followed up and revisited regularly
• Provide excellent customer service

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Ability to design and develop customized HW solutions being the trusted advisor for providing customers the best-class solution, interfacing with 3rd Party companies when required, and owning the end-to-end project.
• Work with our Sales, Product, Engineering, Professional Services organizations in supporting the acquiring and managing our customer base to drive the Company’s achievement in meeting our acquisition and revenue goals across South Africa/EMEA.
• Ability to develop and deliver compelling product demonstrations which tie NCR Atleos solutions to customer needs.
• Ability to build Technical sales assets, performs POCs and Pilots at customer site.
• Ability to managing and lead technical aspects of opportunity.
• Ability to work independently and lead the technical evaluation for opportunities.
• Ability to present a solution tied to customer needs/requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts/opportunities at the same time.
• Ability to travel on demand across EMEA.
• Ability to sell a solution at all levels within an organization.
• Responsible for working as a liaison between the Product Development organization to properly delivery on site POCs and Pilots as per prospect requirements.
• Acts in a professional manner with high ethical standards of performance and behavior at all times; Creates trust and confidence in himself / herself with the customer and NCR Atleos.
• Perceives and considers the underlying attitudes, feelings and needs of customers, peers and others; Modifies, as needed, his / her style to build rapport and achieve compatibility with customers, peers and others

Desired Skills & Experience:

• At least 10 years of Presales or similar business/technical experience required.
• Strong vertical expertise in the banking sector.
• Strong solution selling experience.
• Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
• Proven background in demonstrating application software solutions to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated experience in managing all aspects of the technical sale including discovery, demos, follow-up, competitive positioning, etc.
• Experience in Technical and Development or Programming Skills.
• Bachelor's degree or related experience.

Job Duties:

• The successful candidate will mainly contribute to the development of the applications currently used in the Middle East Africa Region. Particularly, the candidate will be responsible for the development of software solutions by analyzing information needs; conferring with users regarding the solutions in hand; studying systems flow, date usage and work processes; investigating problem areas and generally following the software development cycle.

The ideal candidate should match the following criteria:

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering.
• Programming knowledge/ experience using any of the given programming languages: C#.Net, Java, Angular, “C”/”C++;
• Experience with banking environment will be considered as an advantage.
