    Senior HR Administrator

    Your role

    You will be responsible for maintaining personnel records, manage HR documents (e.g. employment records and onboarding guides) and updating internal databases. You will also be responsible for the administration of the HR systems and HR payroll, leave and general administration.

    • Load new employees on People 300 (HR), users and access to ESS Leave.
    • Ensure that Workday is loaded correctly, maintaining structure and ICT access.
    • Maintain HR Database, Employment Equity and Headcount reporting.
    • Load IFS System with new employees and update details for finance purposes.
    • Data management, including medical aid, leave etc.
    • Leave management and reporting.
    • Facilitate the medical boarding process of employees
    • Monthly reporting
    • General correspondence, employment confirmation, visa letters
    • Medical aid loading and month end schedule.
    • Management and administration of COIDA and UIF
    • General HR filing

    Experience:

    • At least 5 years’ experience in Human Resources discipline.
    • Understanding of Workday, Sage and IFS.
    • Advance Excel and Word skills

    Desired skills:

    • Full knowledge of all the elements and functionalities of Human Resources.
    • A working knowledge of Sage Payroll, Workday and IFS

    Program Manager (EW After Sales)

    The successful incumbent for this challenging position will be responsible for:

    • The management, coordinating and facilitating successful program outcomes by ensuring effective and efficient financial management of projects, business process management, client and vendor management and personnel management.
    • Program management (In Service Support and Transfer of Technology Programs): ensure the efficient and profitable execution of all allocated programs and related contracts within the constraints of schedule, budget and scope of work.
    • Planning: develop, execute & maintain a project management plan and aggregate project plans for all allocated projects in accordance with the SGD Management System.
    • Keep project stakeholders informed of project status through effective communication within defined mechanisms (steering committee meetings, monthly reports, project meeting, etc.)
    • Provide Marketing and Bid support and fulfil the role of operations responsible for allocated bids by coordinating the generation of the operations data pack (schedule, costing and statement of work), in accordance with the SGD Management System.
    • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders and thereby acting as the SGD point of contact (POC) for all contract matters.
    • Participate in the technical execution of projects, working with the technical responsible to ensure effective project execution.
    • Ensure adherence to contractual requirements and objectives, utilizing resources effectively over the full lifecycle of the contract.
    • International travel as required.

    Your profile

    Knowledge and Skills Required:

    • Experience in the execution of customer contracts
    • Experience in working across many different departments and stakeholders in a strong complex matrix organization
    • Minimum 10 years applicable project management experience in the defence environment will be advantageous
    • Interfacing with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally to the organisation
    • Experience in MS Office, MS Project, MS Excel and Financial Database
    • Leading and managing project teams in a technical environment
    • Creating and delivering written and oral presentations
    • Excellent negotiation skills
    • Extensive financial knowledge and experience in working with MRP System (e.g. IFS)

    Desired Skills:

    • In-depth knowledge of project management in the execution of customer contracts and Maintenance Repair Organisation (MRO)
    • Knowledge and experience of Electronic Warfare systems fundamentals within the Air, Naval, Land and RF domains and MRO processes will be an advantage
    • Strong technical background in the maintenance and repair of Electronic Warfare systems and products

    Qualification:

    • The ideal candidate will have an applicable B. Degree, Engineering Management qualification or equivalent. An MBA or equivalent qualification will be an advantage
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification will be an advantage.
