    PS Officer Specialised Tactical - Rustenburg

    Job Description:

    • Support in investigating crime and transgression of procedures
    • Patrol and protect all personnel and assets within an assigned area of responsibility
    • Complete applicable safety, injury, hazard, risk and incident reports for area

    Job Description:

    To lead the interface between Supply Chain, operations and the communities through strong interface management, prioritization of business and asset requirements and driving Supply Chain Operational Excellence at a BU/asset level.

    Job Description:

    Your role will include but not limited:

    • Conducting routine on-the-face quality control of ground support installation processes and systems.

    Junior Geotechnical Engineer

    Job Description:

    In this role you will:

    • Investigate incidents caused by rock-related instability.
    • Monitor compliance to mining to design, ground support standards and procedures.
    • Provide input into local excavation layouts, based on the mine’s design protocols and standards.
    • Conduct localised stability analyses (e.g. wedge block analyses) and issue appropriate recommendations to ensure excavation safety and stability.
    • Attend and / or provide input into Monthly Pre- and / or Planning meetings.
    • This role is in the Technical Support Services department at a GBF7 level reporting to the Geotechnical Engineer

    Qualifications:

    Job Description:

    The purpose of this role is to be the overarching subject matter expert and owner for Electrical and C&I Engineering within De Beers Group, driving the delivery of the Upstream Priority Areas as linked to the De Beers Group Strategy.

    • Execute discipline specific projects in line with De Beers Upstream priority areas and identified operational requirements.
    • Provide expert technical Support for both Managed Operations and Non-Managed Joint Venture Operations on the following:
    • Roll-out, embedment and review of relevant standards, frameworks and best practices, managing compliance issues within the relevant managerial and governance frameworks.

    Mine Overseer Pre-Production

    Job Description:

    The Mine Overseer is accountable for the planning, coordination and effective implementation of mining and all related activities to ensure the achievement of operational objectives arising out of the business and mining strategy.

    KEY RESULTS AREAS: 

    • The Mine Overseer has the legal accountability with a 2.14.1 and a 2.13.12 appointment in terms of the MHSA section 26 of 1996.
    • After safety, the main purpose of the role is to develop and execute the day to day shift plan utilising their knowledge of the mechanized development cycle to ensure the effective deployment of resources to achieve the shift plan.
    • Interpret execution methodologies, and contribute towards development of those, for mining activities and construction related activities.
    • Develop framework to conduct risk assessments on all the work to mitigate potential hazards and risks
    • Contribute to a framework to derive safe working standards and procedures for all mining and construction related activities.
    • Contribute to development of functional roles and responsibilities for all personnel for mining and related construction.

    The purpose of this role is to assist the Reconciliations supervisor in providing a timely, accurate and compliant intercompany and payroll reconciliations for Anglo American BU’s.

    Key Tasks:
