- Manage the execution of the teacher duty schedules as well as morning, break time, and lunch supervision.

- Collect, analyze, share, and interpret internal and external school assessment data and ensure that data is used strategically to improve student academic performance.

ABOUT YOU
- You have 5+ years of experience in a rigorous, high-expectations school setting including instructional leadership roles (e.g., Dean of Instruction, Dean of Students, Deputy Head, teacher coach, etc.). More years of experience or experience as a Head of School is highly valued but not a prerequisite, having 5+ years of Primary School professional experience is a prerequisite.

About the Role
- We are looking for an exceptional Computer Science Teacher to start in Term 2! candidate must have practical experience teaching senior phase.
Key responsibilities for the role include:
- Deliver impactful and engaging enquiry-based lessons supported by technology to enhance instructional delivery
- Deliver exceptional, real world, enquiry-based Computer Science lessons that align with the Cambridge Computer Science curriculum requirements

About You
Skills and Qualifications required:
- A BSc in Computer Science or similar degree + completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) is ideal. We are also open to candidates who have a Bachelors of Education degree but who have strong experience in a Computer Science field
- SACE registered
- Practical teaching Computer Science
- You have an understanding of the Cambridge Computer Science Curriculum
- You have strong technical knowledge of Computer Science
- You have experience with one or more of the following programming languages: Python, Visual Basic (console mode), Pascal/Delphi
- You have have a solid understanding of the design, coding and testing stages in the program development cycle
- You can provide evidence (i.e. a portfolio of work) of programming skills
- You love teaching and care deeply about the success of each and every student
- You have an understanding of and passion for enquiry based, student-centered learning

ABOUT THE ROLE
- Working with the school's educational psychologist to provide educational psychological services to students across campuses of Nova Pioneer. This will include individual therapeutic interventions, psychoeducational assessments, group intervention, meeting attendance and collaborative multidisciplinary work, case management, and consultations with parents and teachers.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Work under the supervision of Nova Pioneer's educational psychologist, who will act as the site supervisor
- As per the HPCSA requirements, the internship will be full-time, and the intern will be required to work through school holidays. Leave days are allocated according to the HPCSA guidelines
- Provide therapeutic interventions, including play therapy and trauma support to primary school students from Grade 00/000 to Grade 12
- Provide learning support and remedial interventions to students in primary school.
- Conduct psycho-educational assessments of students in the primary school
- Conduct school readiness assessments of students in Grade R
- Write professional, useful, and psychometrically-sound assessment reports
- Provide group interventions and facilitate Social and Emotional Learning experiences with an emphasis on prevention in the secondary school
- Attend Student Support Team meetings and work as part of a collaborative student support team
- Maintain accurate clinical records
- Maintain the highest level of professional and ethical conduct, upholding the Professional Rules of Conduct pertaining to the profession of psychology as laid down by the HPCSA
ABOUT YOU
Essential:
- Have completed or be nearing completion of an accredited Master’s degree in education or counseling psychology (no time will be given for completion of course work)
- Have an individualized internship program that has been approved by the Professional Board for Psychology by December 2023
- Be registered with the HPCSA as an intern Psychologist by no later than January 2024
- Be willing and able to work on different campuses of the school
- Have supervised experience in therapeutic interventions and psychological assessment
