    Quality Improvement Coach - Parktown

    Work Description

    • The Improvement Coach is responsible for providing on-site and hands on QI coaching to Mentors and Area Managers as well as assist in the co-ordination and management of all QI Projects within a District.

    Technical Work Responsibilities

    • Liaise with Internal and External Customers/Stakeholders
    • Coordination and management of all QI Projects within a District
    • QI Site visit scheduling, coordination and oversight
    • Generate innovative QI ideas for Mentors and Facilities
    • Collecting DHIS Data at a Sub-district level
    • QI record keeping
    • Human capital management
    • Coaching and mentoring

    Requirements

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree and relevant Quality Improvement certificate course

    Experience

    • At least one years’ experience in improvement methodology or process engineering, LEAN or Six Sigma

    Requirements

    • Proficient personal computer skills
    • SA Citizen or valid work permit to work in South Africa
    • Basic computer skills
    • Advanced computer skills
    • Driver’s license
    • Own car
    • Minimal/Moderate/Excessive overnight travel (up to 30%) by land or air if required
    • Willing to work overtime.

    General Assistant - Western Cape

    The General Assistant maintains site facilities including cleaning of buildings and offices, general and/or site maintenance.

    Technical Work Responsibilities

    • Cleaning and general maintenance services
    • Boardroom preparation for meetings
    • Beverage-making services

    Duties

    • Maintain the premises
    • Clean all allocated site offices and restrooms
    • Clean Clinics and Laboratories
    • Preparing of tea and coffee for guests and visitors at Aurum Institute
    • Prepare boardrooms for meetings
    • Conduct approved maintenance
    • Conduct general garden maintenance Distribution and record keeping of consumables
    • Record and report all maintenance required to the Operational Manager onsite
    • Provide recommendations on cleaning products and consumables
    • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
    • Identify own developmental needs and provide recommendations
    • Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures according to prescribed legislation
    • Report all unsafe activities to Senior Management/Human Resources
    • Adhere to decision making procedures

    Requirements

          Education

    • Grade 12 or similar Experience
    • 6 months’ experience of general office hygiene services and maintenance in a corporate environment

    Requirements

    • Knowledge of basic office etiquette
    • Advanced cleaning skills
