    Foreman

    Job Description

    • Maintain a good understanding of daily operational issues.
    • Assists the Plant Manager in coordinating tasks according to priorities and plans.
    • Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met accordingly.
    • Supervision and issuing of the work permit to the co-workers and/or subcontractors
    • Problem analysis: evaluate the problems that arises in the photovoltaic system, undertake a technical investigation, provide and implement a technically sound solution to the problem as required.
    • Sets objectives for the maintenance team; manages site personnel performance based on assigned duties and maintains a record of their performance through regular, formal evaluations; and makes recommendations.
    • Strive to ensure that plant perform at full capacity and efficiency.
    • Carry out legal and safe instructions issued by the Plant Manager to perform usual and additional duties complying with health and safety procedures for each task and area of work.
    • Active participation in troubleshooting (Faultfinding) or root cause analysis timeously when required.
    • Ensure that all notifications and report submission relating to the incidents and performance of the facility are submitted timeously.
    • Maintain good work relations with the client’s representatives and other stakeholders.
    • Oversee and assume responsibility for overall operations of the facility at the absence of the plant manager.

    Skills/qualifications

    • Degree in Electrical Engineering
    • At least 5 years’ experience in Energy power plants or Electrical Substations Operation & Maintenance.
    • Excellent skills in Electrical Substations (knowledge of relay protections, HV breaker, HV transformers, HV switchgears, restart substations after breaker trips)
    • Valid certificate as well as a good understanding of High Voltage Regulations
    • Experience in switching LV, MV and HV systems. Backed by POE (portfolio of evidence)
    • High computer literacy and a proficiency in MS Office
    • Experience with lock-out, tag out procedures.
    • Ability to read electrical drawings.
    • Solid understanding of SCADA system.
    • Solid understanding of the power system protection.
    • Valid Driver’s license.

    Operations Risk Analyst

    Job Summary:

    • This position is responsible to support and assist the Operational Risk Manager in the execution of governance and oversight and implementation of the Operational Risk Framework across the Bank.

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsibilities will include all administrative OR functions, including collating, tracking, maintaining records, reviews and testing.
    • Responsible for specific operational risk activities such as risk event reporting, change risk assessments, issue management and tracking.
    • Assist organisational units to implement and maintain operational risk management tools to help identify, assess, monitor, control and mitigate operational risk. Conduct training in need.
    • Conduct reviews to identify possible operational risks and provide recommendations to address the control weaknesses; monitor the implementation and progress of the enhanced controls.
    • Work closely with business functions to effectively manage operational risk in accordance with legal, regulatory directives and internal requirements of the Group and Country.
    • Liaise with the Group Operational Risk team in supporting and driving any other initiatives or actions that may be required to build and embed the OR framework across the Bank.

    Requirements:

    • Education: Applicants are required to have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree. Degree in Risk Management is preferred.
    • A qualification in risk or experience related to risk and control would be an advantage.
    • Knowledge of banking operations would be an advantage.
    • Control conscious and good work ethic.
    • Logical thinking and good analytical skill required.
    • A good team player with the ability to learn quickly.
    • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
    • Able to work under pressure, within tight deadlines and multi-disciplinary.
    • Effective communication skills and report writing skills.
    • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

    Job Description:

    KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

    • Identify Segment Opportunities- Ideate
    • Analyze Market, segment, competitors and consumers trends in order to provide a long-term strategy
    • Interprets insights to identify and prioritize opportunities to innovate and revolutionize organizational products and services.
