    Despatch Controller (Wholesale) - Lilianton

    Job Description    

    • To handle that all products to be despatched are despatched in the correct manner as to quantity, quality and the right product.
    • To handle 50-100 delivery notes per day in season and 10-50 delivery notes per day out of season.
    • To respond to delivery notes that are placed in the ‘picking tray’ by collecting the pick quantities intended for despatch which will be handed to the Materials Handlers.
    • To determine whether the stock required is actually available and notify the warehouse co-ordinator in the event that there is insufficient stock timeously.
    • To ensure that the picking slip has been signed off by the Reach Truck/Forklift driver.
    • To verify the correct quantity and stock has been picked and placed in the loading area by ticking the items off on the delivery note and the quality is as set standards and that the delivery note is signed off.
    • Assess whether palletised product needs to be repacked.
    • To ensure that no stock is taken directly from the warehouse and placed onto the truck but is rather first placed in the Despatch loading area before being put onto the truck.
    • Respond to the collection slip (If applicable) or the request by the Truck Driver to collect the particular stock and properly identify the correct delivery/ collection agent (Trucking Company) before loading, also recording the registration number of the truck on the delivery note when the loading of the stock is complete.
    • To ensure that the security guard is present whilst loading takes place to act as a third check and that the security guard stamps and signs the documents.
    • Before releasing the product for removal from the premises and signing the delivery note, a standard dangerous goods check list must be completed.
    • Has the responsibility to refuse anyone access who is found not to be wearing the correct PPE in the despatch area. Also responsible for advising the warehouse coordinator of this breach.
    • To ensure truck drivers are in possession of the Dangerous Goods permit before loading breach.
    • To respond to requests by the Areas Control Driver (TUC) to offload receipts from Production and ensure that no stock from Production is offloaded without the authority of the Despatch Controller or Warehouse Coordinator.
    • To offload stock that is accompanied by a job card.
    • To check that the quantities being offloaded are exactly the same as what is recorded on the job card and to report any differences/variances to the warehouse coordinator immediately.

    Qualifications & Experience    

    • Minimum educational requirement Grade 12
    • A diploma or certificate in logistics, supply chain, transport economics would be advantageous.
    • Minimum of 3 – 4 years’ relevant experience in logistics, distribution, production, or warehousing as a Despatch Controller.
    • Must be able to drive a forklift as well as a Reach Truck, be medically fit to drive a Forklift/Reach Truck and be in possession of a valid Forklift Reach Truck driver’s license.
    • Must be computer literate with basic computer skills and/ or basic MS Office (Word/Excel)
    • Ability to work under pressure, in a fast paced environment

    Qualifications & Experience    

    • Matric with Maths and Science.
    • Must have relevant SHEQ qualifications eg. Dip / Deg SHE Management
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a chemical industry plant environment, preferably production related.
    • Minimum 3 years’ SHEQ Management experience.
    • Experience in ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 Management Systems
    • Excellent knowledge of SHE legislation and best practice.
    • Excellent investigation capability and report writing and presentation skills.
    • SAP experience will be an advantage
    • Be computer literate – MS Office package especially Excel.

    Credit Controller - Chloorkop

    Job Description    

    • To monitor payment trends and collect money from clients.
    • To liaise with Clients on outstanding payments.

    • Printing of debtor invoices and statements
    • Participation in the year end audit in the manner prescribed and in a timeous manner

    Qualifications & Experience    

    • Matric / Grade 12.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a financial environment
    • Tertiary qualification of a diploma relating to Credit Management or NQF equivalent.
    • Computer literate with MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word/Outlook).
    • Must possess a sound working knowledge of Syspro.
    • Familiar with all applicable laws relating to the provision of credit, access to information and competition law.
