    Senior QARA Specialist & Deputy Responsible Pharmacist

    The Senior QARA Specialist is responsible:

    To ensure that CQA processes are in place in his / her region:

    • Local Complaint Coordinator activity
    • Product Surveillance activity for Medicinal Products and Medical Devices
    • Field Action execution

    Supplier & Distributor Management:

    • Implementation of Baxter Quality System in the region and audit management
    • NCR, CAPA and Change Management
    • Selling Authorizations and release of products according to local requirements
    • Ensure back up persons for critical processes in the region are appropriately trained and back up are always available.
    • To ensure that processes and procedure related to mentioned activities are compliant to local regulations, to the Corporate Quality Manual and to ISO 9001 and 13485 requirements.

    To ensure that RA processes are in place in his / her region:

    • To proactively monitor, review, interpret, and translate all national regulatory requirements of the Medicines Regulatory Authority
    • To develop and implement strategies for earliest possible regulatory approvals to support business plans
    • To maintain a good standing with the local regulators and to effectively manage the regulatory activities in line with the company expectations.
    • To ensure appropriate contacts with country Supply Chain, Pharmacovigilance, TS, W&D and Businesses are maintained.

    As the Deputy Responsible Pharmacist of Baxter entity in South Africa:

    • To ensure company compliance with the Medicines and Related Substances Act and the Pharmacy Act and cGMP in the control of medicines and medical devices distributed and sold by Baxter Healthcare.
    • To support the Quality activities of the Third-Party Logistics Warehouse in South Africa.

    Job Description

    Implement and lead the operational computation of Sales Incentives in Kidney Care ECEMEA (MEA / CEETI).

    • collaboration with Business Partners in all ECEMEA(MEA/CEETI) Cluster to support and define the right Incentive strategy & Analytics.
    • Responsible for meaningful performance reporting & Analytics at different Levels of the Kidney Care Sales Organization in the ECEMEA Region (MEA/CEETI).
    • Support and drive the Analytics central approach to centralize and maintain business Analytics for Kidney Care. Implementation of End Customer data based on Distributor data in existing Reporting environment.
    • Implementation of Sales Territories on Cluster Level in collaboration with the Sales Organization - Integration of the ECEMEA Region (MEA/CEETI) in the existing Target Setting Process.
    • Lead Projects on ECEMEA Level (MEA/CEETI) to implement Incentives in existing Incentive Setup – provide results for Global Sales Award Kidney Care.
    • support and drive strategical projects across EMEA – (Analytics / centralization /digitalization & cost optimization projects) in an agile environment and project setup.
    • drive digitalization actively and playing a major role in data driven and digital environment.
    • passion to connect with the business and work together with a small powerful team to drive optimization and centralization of analytical projects.

    Qualification

    • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in economics / Business Informatics / Finance / Digital Health / IT
    • 5+ Years of experience in Project management / Analytics
    • Experience in Healthcare Sector (nice to have) - passion for data crunching and data mining.
    • Soft skills: open minded - Team Player with strong communication style
    • Open mindset for Change Management and challenging the Status Quo.
    • Excellent analytical Skills combined with technical skills in SQL / Tableau & Power BI / MS Office Applications (VBA, Excel ,Powerpivot , Powerpoint)
    • Experience in Incentives is a plus.
    • English is mandatory / other languages are a plus.

    Summary

    Act as a first point of contact and provide first line fixes and support for external customers. Requiring excellent customer service skills and be ready to work within a structured, fast moving environment, using best practice processes

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Provide a central point of contact for all issues and certain change requests, ensuring that they are dealt with in a timely and effective manner, in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA’s), and be responsible for ensuring relevant issues can be closed in consultation with the user
    • To assign a suitable priority according to the Support Teams SLA
    • To investigate and resolve issues where able to, or escalate where necessary to ensure an effective resolution
    • To take ownership of an issue, even those that have been escalated and ensure that the customer is fully aware of progress on a regular basis
    • To work shifts (when called upon) and be flexible with core working hours to ensure continuity of service and support to both UK and International clients
    • Manage change requests for software upgrades and provide project co-ordination for such activities on behalf of the customer
    • Provide proactive monitoring of customer servers and interfaces using the appropriate monitoring service

    Qualifications

    • Excellent communication skills maintaining a clear, positive and professional manner at all times
    • Attention to detail
    • Ability to network and liaise with both internal and external teams
    • Be able to empathise with the ICNet customer base and achieve high levels of customer satisfaction

    Education and/or Experience

    • Qualification in ITIL or similar would be advantageous
    • A level in an IT based subject (or similar) is desirable
