    FCI (Flight Centre Independent) Business Development Manager

    Primary duties and responsibilities

    Acquire new agents / agencies to join Flight Centre Independent

    • Generate leads and prospects through various methods such as cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
    • Convert agents / agencies
    • Identify partnership opportunities that will allow for increased revenue and margin returns.
    • Understand competitor offerings including key FCTG Independent differentiators

    Maintain and grow client portfolio

    • Manage multi-level relationships internally and externally
    • Analyse client portfolio spend report monthly
    • Consult with client and identify additional opportunities
    • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders such onboarding & implementations
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.

    Comply with internal sales processes

    • Develop content and work with the design team to create collateral, including model presentations, commercials and collateral, to support the sales process.
    • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all business development activities.
    • Support customer and internal stakeholders to successfully implement & transition customers demonstrating thorough communicationAttend possible networking client functions, training seminars, client functions, buzz nights, focus days and conferences
    • Brief Operations Team on progress of the pipeline
    • Ensure all One Best Way processes are followed, i.e. Sales Force, KPIs etc

    Education and qualification:

    • Matric 
    • Tertiary qualification – degree or diploma

    Experience:

    • Proven track record of at least 5yrs in business development or sales, preferably in the travel industry.
    • Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
    • Strong understanding of the independence markets and trends within the travel industry.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
    • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients/agents and stakeholders.
    • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software i.e. salesforce

    Commercial & Data Analyst – Supply, Pricing & Marketing

    About the Role: Commercial & Data Analyst – Supply, Pricing & Marketing

    • To provide business support to the Supply, Pricing and Marketing executive team, ensuring that our strategic goals and commercial opportunities are realized.

    Key Responsibilities

    Reporting –

    • Business Support & Ad HOC Reporting.
    • End of Month reporting.
    • Sourcing data for new reporting.
    • Maintaining current data sources.
    • Profiling and cleaning data for SQL ingestion.
    • Reporting for airline requests.
    • Airline contracting reporting maintenance.

    Power BI –

    • Maintain reference tables.
    • Update current dashboards.
    • Create ad hoc dashboards at request of stakeholders.
    • Assist team in dashboard projects.

    Stakeholder Relationships –

    • Assist, assess and cultivate long-term strategic goals for SPM in conjunction with end users, managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
    • Design and deliver end-user training and training materials, and provide technical support as necessary.
    • Promote a data culture within Flight Centre.

    Experience & Qualifications

    • Data Analyst Certification or Finance Degree (or studying towards).
    • 2+ year’s experience in an analyst (or similar) role or finance / reporting role.
    • Experience in the travel industry would be an advantage.
    • Strong Ability to analyse user requirements and report according to specification.
    • Analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Strong understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
    • Good knowledge of data governance.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
    • Able to prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
    • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Experience/Qualifications
