Purpose of the job:  

• Manage allocated load and/or vehicle on assigned route with a strong focus on maintaining and growing volumes through customer service.

Responsibilities:

• To manage sales route by delivering customer service
• Ensuring excellent communication with customers and the site
• Ensuring efficient bread crate control on daily basis
• Ensuring excellent vehicle usage by following all vehicle SOP’s
• Excellent cash management on daily basis
• Driving sales on assigned route
• Ensuring excellent stock management

Qualification Requirements    

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Experience Requirements    
• Valid code C1 license & PDP
• At least 1 years’ experience in a similar position in the FMCG industry with emphasis on customer service FMCG background and sound knowledge of bread sales.

Job Description    

• Will be responsible for offloading the trucks and taking of sample from the trucks, truck inspections and testing of lab samples as well as housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities

• Offloading the trucks and taking of sample from the trucks
• Truck Inspections
• Testing and taking the sample to the Lab
• Cleaning of Intake offloading area, clearing of chokes and Overflowing bins
• Cleaning of Intake machines and House keeping
• Assisting on the Repairing and maintaining of the Intake machines
• To ensure compliance with relevant Food Safety and Health Safety
• Operate and use required tools and equipment skilfully and safely.
• Perform heavy physical labour.
• Read, comprehend, and work from plans and SOP’s.
• Maintain cooperative working relationships.
• Demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for a diverse population.
• Function in a team
• Follow written and verbal instructions.

Qualification Requirements    

• Grade 12 Essential

Experience Requirements    

• 2-3 years’ experience in relevant trade
• Exposure and Mill knowledge will an advantage

Other Requirements

• Required to work in hot and cold extreme weather conditions.
• 5 - day position and may be required to work overtime and unusual working hours (after hours) from time to time.

Role and Responsibilities:
As a Packaging Technologist, you will:

• Develop and implement packaging solutions in alignment with marketing strategies and feasibility studies.
• Conduct trials, write trial reports, and provide coaching to packing line teams.
• Build strong relationships with packaging suppliers nationally and internationally.
• Ensure material and machine compatibility of packaging substrates for marketing projects.
• Maintain an up-to-date colour standards library, specification templates, and knowledge repository.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation in the packaging field.
• Ensure compliance with packaging regulations, standards, and sustainability practices.

Qualification Requirements    

• A degree or diploma in IPSA Packaging, Food Science, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (Packaging development oriented), or related fields.

Experience Requirements    

• 5-7 years of experience in packaging development within the FMCG industry, working with both flexible and rigid materials.
• Knowledge of printing methods for packaging and design-to-print process management.

Key Outputs    

• Proficiency in MS Office, palletisation programs, project management, and report writing.
