    Engineering Intern - Durban

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    HSE

    • To ensure constant adherence and compliance to company HSE and security standards, local by-laws, standards, and legislations to minimise all risk pertaining to company assets and protection of life and environment.
    • Stop operations in the event of an Emergency.
    • Report at least 2 Near Misses monthly.
    • Stop any activity that has a potential to cause accident or product nonconformity.

    Operations

    • Participate in Engineering, Production & Quality improvement projects.
    • Complete time & motion studies on production processes.
    • Assist with implementation of 5S & lean principles in all LMP departments.

    Card Admin Intern

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Responsible and Accountable to provide end to end Administration processes on the Card and Mobility Offering relating to both   Customers and Dealers.
    • To ensure Customer and Dealer cards are well maintained in creation, printing, blacklisting and renewals, whilst following the internal and Group procedure.
    • To investigate and resolve queries daily raised by Customers, Dealers, Total Customer Care agents and logged on SALSA, thereby contributing to being number one with our customers.
    • To investigate and capture manual transactions performed by TotalEnergies Card Merchant’s onto the Tomcard System within 24 business hours.
    • To analyse daily the Card anomaly reports and communicate issues to Customers to ensure successful systematic transactions.
    • To effectively manage cash accounts daily and assist with customers financial controls.
    • To investigate errors and missing receipts on card balances and to ensure transactions are correctly sequenced, thereby ensuring Priority Control 2 (Trial balance) is well maintained as per procedure.
    • To ensure good record keeping of requests by customers (cards - new, hot listing and instructions of limit movements).
    • To ensure clients card records are validated and kept up to date – quarterly reviews with clients.
    • To accurately calculate, capture and publish the monthly Card pricing on the Tomcard Systems as per internal procedure.
    • To assist Customers and Dealers with the Card processes, systems, administration, reports, and product knowledge.
    • To provide daily support to the Card Sales Representative as per allocated areas.

    Food Hygiene/Safety Co-Ordinator

    Candidate Profile

    • 5 to 7 years working experience

    Activities

    Identifying food safety issues (financial, commercial, technical, and human) on a local level  

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Principal duties that cannot be outsourced:
    • Ensuring that the general principles are implemented in the business unit :
    • A clear definition of roles and duties concerning food hygiene end to end
    • Skills available in-house or externally 
    • Compliance with the laws and regulations in force in the country concerned by food hygiene
    • Implementation of operational rules (rules of hygiene and cleanliness, food storage rules, inspections to be performed, etc.) aiming to ensure food hygiene
    • Standards to be met for the premises and equipment used in the food (cold/hot and short shelf life/long shelf life) chain cycle 
    • Awareness-raising and training of staff involved (Online & Face to face)
    • Consideration of food hygiene in the purchasing process
    • Processes for managing non-compliances and anomalies linked to food hygiene
    • A food hygiene audit process and guidelines
    • A warning and crisis management system for food hygiene
    • Management of the approach and monitoring of indicators
    • Being the contact person from the network department for all food hygiene questions  
    • Distributing the best practices guide and related tools/documents 
    • Ensuring that the food hygiene training program is implemented

    • Along with Category Managers and Operation/Sales Teams, establishing the principles for the sale of self-service foodstuffs (sandwiches and all products with expiration dates, temperature, delivery, etc.) as well as products with transformation on-site for take-out or eat-in food services  
    • Supporting trainers and/or leading food hygiene training sessions on site 
    • Taking part in hygiene audits on sites 
    • Helping to interpret microbiological analyses  
    • Providing support to investigations into food hygiene events (food poisoning and injuries)

    • Conducting hygiene audits on sites 
    • Taking samples on sites and microbiological analyses in laboratories

    Key Responsibilities:
