    Technician (Electrical) - Northern Suburbs (Cape)

    Description

    • Maintain all plant and equipment to cGMP standards at all times.

    Responsibilities:

    •  Perform preventative maintenance and attend to machine breakdowns
    •  Support setting of production machines according to requirements
    •  Ensure production machines are running efficiently (to cGMP standards) and production output is optimized 
    •  Purchase spare parts and equipment as required and authorized
    •  Provide tech support to the plant
    •  Support troubleshooting activities and come up with innovative solutions to technical problems in the plant
    •  Support the installation and commissioning of machinery
    •  Coach operators in the correct use of and maintenance of machinery
    •  Maintain housekeeping and quality/safety standards
    •  Support special projects
    •  Monitor safety standards of machines and equipment and report and repair noncompliance
    •  Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems
    •  Manufacture specialized machinery parts when required
    •  Leverage new technologies and innovations.

    Requirements

    • N4 – Electrical (Drives, PLC’s, HMI’s)
    •  Qualified Electrical Artisan
    •  Wireman's license would be advantageous
    •  3 years of electrical fault finding and repair experience in process and packing equipment
    •  HMI, PLC, and VSD programming and set-up
    •  Electrical panel building and wiring
    •  Basic fitting skills
    •  Basic Computer literacy
    •  Willing to work shifts and overtime
    •  Ability to deliver faultless work
    •  Excellent communication & problem-solving skills
    •  Above average time management & attention to detail skills

    Recruitment Consultant (Fixed Term Contract) - Northern Suburbs (Cape)

    Description

    As the Recruiter, you will be working in partnership with internal stakeholders, senior managers and HR on all aspects of internal and external recruitment.  You will act as a subject matter expert for recruitment and help to improve and implement the current process from requisition through to the onboarding of candidates.

    •  When receiving a requisition to recruit, ensure that it is duly completed and signed off.  Ensure that an updated job description is available and the job has been graded.
    • Send out internal and external advert on relevant job portals to ensure that the position gets sufficient exposure.
    • Apply expertise in sourcing candidates via a variety of direct sourcing methods including advertising, Linked-in, social media and headhunting.
    • Reduce agency spent by using sourcing techniques to headhunt for talent, targeting passive candidates and approaching specific markets and organisations for candidates.
    • Screen all incoming applications and send a shortlist to the line manager for review.
    • Train and advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques and assessment methods.
    • Ensure that competency-based interviews are done and that each panel member scores the applicants as per the guidelines.  Draw up a summary sheet of each applicant with the score per panel member.
    • Organise psychometric assessments for all shortlisted candidates.
    • Ensure regular communication with all applicants to facilitate a positive applicant experience (also via the applicant tracking recruitment system).  Promote the company as an Employer of choice.
    • Ensure that relevant checks are done for all applicants (criminal, credit, qualification, medical, references etc).
    • Once an offer has been made an accepted, ensure that all shortlisted candidates are duly and professionally regretted, and that the ATR is updated.
    • File all recruitment documentation accurately and timeously according to procedure
    • Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12, preferably coupled with an HR qualification
    • At least 5 years' experience in in-house recruitment across different disciplines and levels.
    • Experience with ATR systems and direct sourcing methods (Linkedin, Social Media, etc)

    HR Business Partner - Northern Suburbs (Cape)

    Description

    • We seek a highly skilled and experienced HRBP to join our team. As the HRBP you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of the Organization, by supporting and guiding our HR policies and programs. In this position, you will work closely with the HR team and business leaders to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives that align with our overall business objectives. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of HR best practices and a proven track record of driving positive organizational change.

    Responsibilities:

    •  Contribute to and execution of HR Strategy
    •  Guide business leaders in HR policies and procedures
    •  Manage Employee Relations to resolve IR issues within reasonable times

    •  Prepare and submit all necessary compensation and benefits documents timeously to payroll

    •  Manage events and social calendar.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 coupled with an HR-related degree or diploma 
    •  A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role as HRBP within a Manufacturing environment
    •  Solid understanding of Human Resources Management, specifically Industrial Relations and Training and Development
    •  Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
    •  Excellent Planning, prioritizing, and interpersonal skills.
    •  Superb communication and collaboration skills.
