    Main Purpose:

    • This role will ensure the availability of converting equipment to produce the company products, as well as execute preventative maintenance activities to improve the mechanical reliability of all machines.     Process Engineer

    Purpose of the position:

    • The Process Engineer's fundamental drive is the continual improvement of efficiency, performance, competitive advantage and utilisation of plant equipment, labour, knowledge, planning, inventory, production processes and tasks, by drawing on knowledge resources within the business, the use of lean manufacturing principles and OMS to continually improve the value stream and its components.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Oversight of the converting processes and working to maintain optimisation of the continuous manufacturing process
    • To develop, implement and drive the Continuous Improvement Program, primarily focused around: 4M's - machines, materials, methods, and manpower.
    • Analysis & reporting on the consumption of materials and utilities.
    • Develop and lead VIP cost improvements.
    • Develop and set standards for consistent operations across all shifts and ensure that, through coaching and influencing, the performance of the shift production team is being managed to achieve this.
    • Development and implementation of action plans together with the production teams to address any deviation from standard as identified through OMS.
    • Co-ordinate the quality improvement program together with shift production teams, SHERQ and other technical resources (internal and external).

    • Analyse and interpret process data to advise the Site Engineer and the Operations Manager on potential operational and quality risks as well as opportunities for improvement.

    Educational and Experience:

    • B. Tech or National Diploma in Pulp and Paper Technology, B. Tech / BSc or National Diploma in Industrial Engineering. 
    • Minimum of 3 years Process Engineering experience 
    • Skilled in using the MS Office package Advance Excel skills 
    • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 6-Sigma or similar methodologies. 
    • In-depth knowledge, understanding and experience of FMCG or Converting plant, and able to translate this into practical applications to improve business unit performance.

    • To manage a team of Electrical Artisans to ensure the availability of converting machines and equipment to produce products safely and to the required specification.     Purpose of the Role:

    • To lead and optimise the performance, compliance, safety, utilisation and profitability of the company's cross-border fleet operations across Southern Africa.

    Position Summary:

    • The Cross Border Fleet Manager will be responsible for the overall management of fleet performance, cross-border transport execution, driver management, maintenance planning, fuel control, compliance, customer service and operational profitability.     Key Accountabilities:

    Fleet Operations Management

    • Manage the daily performance of the company's cross-border fleet.

    • Conduct performance reviews, coaching, training and disciplinary processes where required.
    • Ensure drivers follow company procedures, customer site requirements and road safety standards.

    Fleet Maintenance and Asset Management

    • Oversee preventative maintenance planning and ensure vehicles are serviced according to schedule.
    • Monitor breakdowns, vehicle downtime, repair costs and maintenance trends.
    • Coordinate with workshops, service providers and internal teams to ensure vehicle availability.
    • Ensure all vehicles, trailers and equipment meet safety and compliance standards.
    • Support asset planning and fleet replacement recommendations where required.

    Fuel, Cost Control and Profitability

    • Monitor fuel consumption, route costs, driver behaviour and operating expenses.
    • Identify cost-saving initiatives while maintaining service levels and safety standards.
    • Monitor profitability by vehicle, route, customer or corridor where applicable.
    • Support budgeting, forecasting and financial performance reviews.
    • Ensure fleet operations contribute positively to company profitability.

    Compliance, Safety and Risk Management

    • Ensure compliance with transport legislation, road traffic regulations and internal company policies.
    • Monitor vehicle licences, permits, roadworthiness, insurance and regulatory documentation.
    • Promote health, safety, security and environmental compliance across fleet operations.
    • Investigate incidents, accidents, delays and service failures, and implement corrective actions.
    • Support internal and external audits when required.

    Customer Service and Stakeholder Management

    • Ensure transport service levels are achieved, and customer expectations are met.
    • Work with customer service and commercial teams to resolve operational challenges.
    • Provide operational feedback and performance updates to management.
    • Support business growth by ensuring reliable, professional and cost-effective fleet operations.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Minimum 10 years' experience managing cross-border transport operations.
    • Minimum 5 years in a senior fleet management role.
    • Strong knowledge of SADC transport corridors, border operations and route planning.
    • Proven experience managing drivers, fleet staff, vehicles, trailers and service providers.
    • Strong understanding of transport legislation, permits, vehicle compliance and safety requirements.
    • Strong financial understanding of fleet costs, fuel management and fleet profitability.

    Purpose of the Role

    • To manage customs clearing activities and bonded warehouse operations while ensuring full compliance with SARS Customs legislation, internal procedures and customer requirements.

    Position Summary

    • The Customs Clearing Controller - Bonded Warehouse will be responsible for managing customs entries, bonded warehouse compliance, customs documentation, SARS interactions, Easy Clear processing, operational accuracy and customer service.     Key Accountabilities

    Customs Operations

    • Manage import and export customs clearing processes from document receipt to final release.

    • Identify opportunities to improve processing accuracy, turnaround times and system discipline.

    Compliance and Regulatory Affairs

    • Maintain compliance with SARS Customs legislation and relevant regulatory requirements.
    • Liaise directly with SARS, customs authorities and other regulatory bodies where required.
    • Prepare for customs audits, inspections and compliance reviews.
    • Ensure internal procedures are followed and updated when regulations or operational needs change.
    • Support management in maintaining high standards of customs compliance and revenue protection.

    Team Leadership and Operational Control
