    Sales Analyst

    Job Description    

    • Join Lactalis at our offices in Gauteng and take on the challenge role as the Sales Analyst. You will be responsible for providing advice and support for all activities relating to the analysis and reporting of sales in order to continuously enhance service delivery, update information and to reach performance targets.

    Required Skills    

    • Degree or Diploma in Sales/Commerce/Marketing.
    • 3-5 Years’ experience in similar role.
    • Proven track record that demonstrates a strong Analytical ability
    • High level of proficiency in EXCEL
    • Above average level of proficiency in PowerPoint (ability to portray data in PowerPoint)
    • Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to interact at all levels.

    Duties & Responsibilities    
    Commercial Performance Analysis

    • Analyse daily, weekly, and monthly sales and waste performance vs budget
    • Track volume, value, distribution
    • Identify gaps, risks, and growth opportunities
    • Provide commentary and corrective action recommendations

    Field Execution & Operations Support

    • Monitor in-store execution KPIs (distribution, share of shelf, promo compliance)
    • Support optimisation of merchandising resources
    • Analyse regional performance variances
    • Assist in route-to-market performance tracking (formal & informal channels)

    Forecasting & Planning

    • Assist in annual budget and quarterly forecast 
    • Monitor and report on sell-in vs sell-out for key customers groups

    Reporting & Dashboard Management

    • Develop and maintain automated dashboards (Power BI / Excel / BI tools)
    • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems
    • Provide executive-level reporting packs
    • Simplify complex data into clear commercial insights

    Strategic & Ad Hoc Projects

    • Support business turnaround initiatives
    • Evaluate ROI on activations and trade spend
    • Support new market or product launches

    Inventory Accountant - Industrial

    Job Description    

    • Join SANULAC Nutritionals at our Clayville Plant as a Inventory Accountant Reporting to the Warehouse & Distribution Manager; ensuring effective management of inventory on site and at suppliers. Manage inventory by stock taking and classifying materials for the business. Ensuring counting of stores inventory and discarding of inventory that does not meet company standards. Performs inventory audits and analyses and reports any discrepancies to stakeholders. Reconciles actual stock counts to ERP generated reports. Compiles logistics and inventory reports.

    Required Skills    

    • Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain/BCom Finance/Accounting
    • At least 3-5 years relevant working experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
    • Computer literate – proficiency in excel, word, PowerPoint, and a fully integrated ERP system g. BaaN, SAP, BPCS etc.
    • Previous stock inventory knowledge and experience

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Ensure that all stock related activities adhere to the stock take “Golden Rules” of the company
    • Obtain cycle count plan that covers all inventory stored within the plant and at suppliers
    • Generate and distribute inventory cycle counts for the plant
    • Capture and randomly audit returned counts and follow up on unreturned stock
    • Perform count analysis and report on discrepancies
    • Report on cycle count completeness for all areas
    • Compile count completeness, variance, and inventory reports
    • Pro-actively communicate all inventory risk to Management
    • Assist with and plan bi–annual stock counts
    • Coordinate all internal and external count audit related activities
    • Coordinate all procedure verification related activities with external auditors
    • Complete stock reconciliation reports and reconcile with SC and Finance
    • Ensure the plant maintains accurate inventory levels by highlighting expired stock and ensure correct warehouse allocations
    • Obtain authorization, execute inventory adjustments with provision and writing-off of inventory deemed not suitable for use
    • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve work objectives
    • Generate In transit and Expiry reports for Warehouse and MC
    • Assist MC in Chemicals and plastics count, preparing and submitting Chemical recon
    • Complete the Inventory Count Certificate of Completion for each warehouse and location and submit it to the group portal

    Import-Export Co-ordinator

    Job Description    

    • The Import-Export Co-ordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of global trade operations. This includes ensuring compliance with customs regulations, managing shipping and transportation logistics, and maintaining accurate records related to international shipments. Primary focus of the role will be the administration and support on Import-Export shipments and tasks.

    Required Skills    

    • 3-year Qualification (Diploma, Degree etc) – Import/Export Trade related
    • 4-5 years’ experience in Imports-Exports operations, logistics, & customs compliance
    • Strong knowledge of Import & Export procedures and South African customs requirements 
    • Certification in International Trade (e.g. Certified Customs Specialist) will be advantageous
    • Good understanding of HS codes, tariff classification, customs duties, and Incoterms 
    • Knowledge of import/export permits, inspections, and regulatory certification processes.
    • Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
    • High level of accuracy in documentation and record keeping
    • Excellent attention to detail and strong administrative, multitasking and organisational skills
    • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
    • Strong compliance mindset with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Coordinate import and export shipments to ensure the timely and efficient movement of goods.
    • Prepare, review, and process shipping documentation, including commercial/proforma invoices, packing lists, customs declarations, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin (COO), SADC certificates, Certificates of Analysis (COA), veterinary permits, and other relevant documents.
    • Capture and process orders accurately and provide support throughout the order fulfilment process.
    • Manage import and export permit application processes and ensure all required approvals are obtained.
    • Coordinate inspections and validate import/export shipments and supporting documentation.
    • Book inspections and coordinate applications for required certificates and approvals through relevant authorities, including Health, Veterinary Services, and PPECB.
    • Liaise with external stakeholders, including inspection companies, government departments, customs authorities, freight partners, and other service providers.
    • Ensure all shipments comply with applicable South African import/export regulations, international trade legislation, customs requirements, and company policies.
    • Identify potential import/export compliance risks and provide guidance on applicable South African import and export restrictions and regulations.
    • Complete and manage import/export checklists and ensure all processes are followed for each shipment.
    • Monitor and track shipments, proactively communicating status updates, delays, and potential issues to internal teams and clients.
    • Investigate and resolve shipment-related challenges, including delays, damages, documentation discrepancies, and customs holds.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date trackers of all import and export transactions and supporting documentation.
    • Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, compliant, and readily available for audit purposes.
    • Stay up to date with changes to international trade laws, customs legislation, tariffs, duties, and import/export regulations.
    • Perform tariff determination and HS code classification to ensure goods are correctly classified and the applicable customs duties and import taxes are accurately determined.
    • Apply knowledge of Harmonized System (HS) classification to correctly categorise products for customs and international trade purposes.
    • Apply sound knowledge of Incoterms and customs legislation when managing international trade transactions.
    • Prepare cost models, landed-cost calculations, estimates, and related import/export costings.
    • Provide general support and guidance on import/export processes to internal stakeholders where required
