    Sales Executive: External (Port Elizabeth)

    Job Purpose:

    • The Sales Executive will be responsible for promoting and selling products and services (channel sales).

    Responsibilities:

    Sales and Business Development

    • Achieve 100% of Gross Profit Target by the end of each month (Epicor).
    • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers via customer visits and meetings, telephone calls, emails, and other communication tools.
    • Seek out new revenue generating opportunities to ensure that company targets are met.
    • Identify client markets and design a sales strategy to fit each client's requirements.
    • Advise on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions as well as encouraging dealers to attend product events.
    • Obtain 3 new customers in each quarter of the FY (Epicor).
    • Identify new business opportunities and network on a constant basis to grow client/customer base.

    Customer Service

    • Interact (Visit/Telephonically) with 80% of allocated customer database quarterly (Report).
    • Ensure that no more than 2 complaints are lodged monthly (telephonic or written).
    • Meet the adequate level of contact with existing customers as may be necessary to maintain/increase levels of business activity.
    • Ensure the customers/client care policies are adhered to always.
    • Ensure professional customer/client interaction always.
    • Provide technical specifications and accurate quotations in the shortest possible time to ensure efficiency and customer retention.
    • Follow-up with work in progress to ensure customer satisfaction.

    Procedures

    • Attend and complete Product/service-related training as and when necessary (attendance register/certificates/results).
    • Provide product/service knowledge internally where required.
    • Always follow Company sales procedures (ISO).
    • Submit fortnightly Sales Reports outlining Sales Activity and pipeline.
    • Respond to messages received through e-mail, telephone, or other communication tools.
    • Take steps to ensure calls or messages are being responded to when not available.
    • Maintain reliable, up-to-date customer records.
    • Report to the Operations Manager on any relevant information that will assist in understanding trends or opportunities within the region.
    • Escalate problems to the Operations Manager promptly when special intervention is required.
    • Manage demo orders according to the stipulated time frame as set out on the demo forms.
    • Assist Finance with any queries relating to outstanding amounts as required.

    Qualification and Experience:

    • Matric.
    • Tertiary qualification in sales and/or marketing would be advantageous.
    • Driver’s license required.
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales; target driven environment at similar level.

    Receptionist Administrator (Cape Town)

    Job Purpose:

    • To provide a professional, efficient, effective, and vigilant frontline and switchboard service that enhances the professional image of the organisation and supports the safety of staff.
    • Maintain a friendly and professional attitude even in the face of challenges, such as an irate client. Strive to provide customers with the best experience possible.

    Responsibilities:

    Manage interface with callers

    • Answer internal and external calls within three rings and transfer appropriately.
    • Deal with caller queries promptly, professionally, and effectively.
    • Screen calls effectively to ensure correct transfer.
    • Take messages accurately and email to the recipient immediately. Pay attention to spelling of names, asking for clarity where necessary, to ensure there is no confusion regarding the identity of the caller.
    • Pay meticulous attention to taking down correct numbers.
    • Maintain a professional, courteous, and helpful Switchboard image always for both internal and external customers.
    • Refer end users to Mustek Registered dealers according to the referral list as provided by Finance.

    Reception Service

    • Serve visitors by greeting and welcoming them in a professional and courteous manner at all times and directing them to the appropriate person/department.
    • Obtain appropriate information and inform relevant employee adequately regarding visitors.
    • Deal with enquiries effectively, identifying the best way to direct the visitor.
    • Convey messages via phone, e-mail.
    • Notify Sales Team and Management of all movements of Sales Staff and Operational Manager, thereby ensuring that calls are not put through to members of staff who are unavailable at the time.
    • Communicate effectively with Management regarding movement in the building, for instance the presence of service providers.
    • Assist in keeping the reception area clean and tidy, always.
    • Observe all movement in the reception area vigilantly, taking appropriate action regarding suspicious behaviour from visitors (e.g., calling for assistance).
    • Keep up to date with current promotions and Mustek business, to provide information to guests, on request.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Matric
    • Reception courses e.g., telephone etiquette
    • Minimum 1 years’ experience as a receptionist preferable

    Product Specialist: Mecer

    Job Purpose:

    • To provide administrative support to the Product Manager in terms of account management, orders, sales requests, training, marketing, client and Vendor liaison, etc.
    • The person will be responsible for selling products, training and supporting the sales team and resellers with enquires, quotations and availability of stock.
    • Product Specialist must be able to promote products and build a lasting relationship with Vendors, the internal sales team, as well as and existing customers. To assist the Product Manager with daily operations of the division. This will include all duties that the Product Manager deems fit to delegate.

    Responsibilities:

    Product Management Support

    • Help with day to day sales and contribute to the bottom line.
    • Provide accurate updated product content and ensure that the system/e-commerce is updated within a reasonable amount of time.
    • Checking purchase orders against purchase confirmations to ensure no item missed off.
    • Managing of open orders on venders and internal.
    • Due Date Management
    • Manage and order stock on back order as well as run rate or for certain deals.
    • Complete competitive analysis monthly.
    • Creating new product codes and managing consistent code structure.
    • Assistance with compiling and distribution of pricelists; update pricelists and system information.
    • Checking for errors on the pricelists before sending.

    Stock Management

    • Keep ETAs of incoming stock updated on the system by checking back-order reports and leasing with Vendors.
    • Manage aged stock and come up with ideas and action on how to move.
    • Manage current stock within budget stock days.
    • Keep the lab updated on outstanding and required stock.
    • Build and maintain relationships with local suppliers.

    Training and Development

    • Maintain and develop MS Office Excel skills and presentation skills.  
    • Read and research products, technology and market trends to remain abreast of technology.
    • Keep abreast with the latest technology and products by attending scheduled training.
    • Introductory and consistent training to ensure that the entire Sales team and customers are kept abreast of Mustek’s product offering.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Matric
    • A tertiary qualification in marketing/sales would be advantageous
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in marketing and sales environment at a similar level

    Key Account Manager - Government (Midrand)

    Job Purpose:

    • To achieve targets set forth within the key accounts sales department and assist in maximising the sales team’s/company’s potential. Develop and implement strategies to build/maintain new/existing fruitful relationships with relevant stakeholders/customers as required.

    General Technician (East London)

    Job Purpose:

    • The Technician is responsible for servicing, testing and repairs of computer equipment. This could include PCs, Tablets, Notebooks, PSUs, UPSs, monitors, printers, cash registers and/or other related equipment and components depending on the requirements of the position.

    Responsibilities:

    • Complete optimum number of repairs per day according to the specific discipline, keep to a minimum of 4 per day.
    • Complete work within the turnaround time of less than two days.
    • Maintain work rate at above 90% of SLA.
    • Maintaining a rework rate of below 3%.
    • Follow the correct test process for international brands.
    • Log test results on the server.
