    Multi Skilled Yellow Fleet Operator

    Description

    • Maintenance of road and storm water infrastructure including repairing of trenches and potholes, replacing missing manhole covers, unblocking of storm water drainage systems, repairs to guardrails and roadside fencing, grading / regravelling of gravel roads and tar roads.
    • Cleaning and rehabilitation of the storm water system and culverts.
    • Operate yellow fleet and conduct any other operational tasks as required.
    • Work with contractors on site for service delivery related to repairs/maintenance.
    • Assist in maintenance the construction of vehicle access to the properties.
    • Complete and maintain all related paperwork including communication with key Facilities Management staff .
    • Ensure that all stock and equipment required for quality service is available for use and is kept safe.
    • Liaise with clients where required. Escalate client queries appropriately.
    • Adhere to high standards of ethical behaviour and communicate instances of unethical behaviour through the appropriate channels .

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification
    • At least 3 years’ experience as a multi skilled Yellow Fleet operator
    • Valid Driver’s License
    • Yellow Equipment Operator certificates/licences for multiple plant machinery

    Supervisor: Water and Sanitation

    Description

    • Supervise daily operations of water  distribution, sewer reticulation, and sanitation systems.
    • Oversee maintenance and repair of water pipelines, pumps, valves, reservoirs, and sewer networks.
    • Coordinate planned and preventative maintenance schedules.
    • Supervise and manage technical staff, artisans, operators, and general workers
    • Ensure proper use of equipment, materials, and fleet.
    • Investigate and respond to water leaks, pipe bursts, blockages, and service interruptions.
    • Maintain accurate operational and maintenance records.
    • Prepare reports, incidents, and resource requirements.
    • Liaise with contractors, consultants, and relevant stakeholders when required

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
    • National Diploma or Trade Qualification in Civil Engineering, Water Care, Plumbing, or related field.
    • 3–5 years’ experience in water and sanitation operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
    • Knowledge of water treatment processes and sanitation systems.
    • Valid driver’s license

    Sewer Truck Driver

    Description

    • Operate sewer vacuum tanker (honey sucker) to remove sewage, sludge, and waste from sewer lines, septic tanks, and pump stations.
    • Drive and maneuver heavy-duty sewer truck safely to various sites.
    • Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
    • Ensure proper handling, transportation, and disposal of waste materials in accordance with environmental regulations.
    • Assist with clearing sewer blockages and emergency spill responses.
    • Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle and equipment.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 / Matric certificate
    • Valid Code C or EC drivers licence and PrDP
    • Minimum 2 years experience operating sewer vacuum trucks
    • Basic knowledge of water and sanitation operations

    Supervisor: Alternative Water Sources

    Description

    • Develop and implement systems to acquire, store, assess and disseminate water resource information to support water resource provision and quality management
    • Perform hydrologic, hydraulic, or water quality modelling
    • Conduct cost-benefit studies for watershed improvement projects or water management alternatives
    • Constructively contribute and proactively collaborate with colleagues across the RBA
    • Adhere to high standards of ethical behaviour and communicate instances of unethical behaviour through the appropriate channels
    • Contribute substantial technical input into the development and administration of projects in the areas of water resources (Basin Water), water management for agriculture (Rural Water) and sustainable development

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Sciences/ Hydrology/ Water Sciences or related field
    • Grade 12 (Matric)
    • Registration with the relevant professional body, where applicable
    • 3–5 years’ experience in water services, groundwater systems or alternative water supply operations.
    • Valid Code B driver’s licence
    • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience

    Supervisor: Building Maintenance

    Description

    • Supervise, coordinate, and support maintenance teams to ensure efficient delivery of daily operational activities.
    • Ensure that both planned (preventative) and unplanned (reactive) maintenance is carried out timeously and in accordance with approved standards and procedures.
    • Monitor and manage the condition of all properties, ensuring that maintenance and repair works are executed to required quality standards.
    • Allocate tasks, manage workloads, and track team performance to ensure productivity and accountability.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to identify maintenance needs, potential risks, and areas requiring improvement.
    • Liaise with Infrastructure, service providers, and relevant stakeholders to coordinate maintenance activities and resolve issues effectively.
    • Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and record-keeping of maintenance activities, inspections, and incidents.

    Requirements

    Qualifications: National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Engineering, Property Management, or a related field.

    Experience: 

    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in property management and/or maintenance within a similar environment.
    • At least 1–2 years’ experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
    • Proven experience in managing both preventative and reactive maintenance programmes.

    Fleet Coordinator : Water Truck Operations

    Description

    • Coordinate daily deployment and scheduling of water trucks based on operational needs
    • Monitor fleet movements using tracking systems and ensure optimal utilization
    • Liaise with drivers, supervisors, and clients to ensure smooth operations
    • Maintain accurate fleet records, logs, and reports (fuel usage, mileage, trip sheets)
    • Coordinate routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs of water trucks
    • Ensure compliance with road safety regulations, company policies, and legal requirements
    • Monitor driver performance, attendance, and adherence to operational procedures
    • Support cost control initiatives, including fuel management and operational efficiency

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 / Matric (essential)
    • Diploma in Transport and Logistics Management - or a related field
    • Must have 5 Years of Experience in fleet coordination and Logistics operations 
    • Proven expertise with vehicle scheduling and Maintenance planning
    • Hands on experience with fleet management software and GPS tracking system
    • Valid driver’s license
