    Executive Head: Record To Record

    Role Purpose

    The Executive Head: Record to Report role is based within Finance Operations.
    Record to Report’s main objective is to correctly reflect the financial position of the organization and to ensure local financial statements are compliant with accounting standards. The Head of Record to Report (RTR) will take a leadership role to enable this achievement through the application of best practices in sustainable continuous improvement, working collaboratively with FinOps functions globally, Finance Business Partners, and the wider South Africa Organization.

    Your Responsibilities Will Include
    Margin / Incentive / Inventory / Interconnect Accounting & Consolidations

    • To ensure that the Accounting and Information provided for decision making is accurate, timely and relevant.

    Inter -and Intra-company Management

    • To ensure that the intercompany process is streamlined to allow accurate accounting and effective balancing of transactions.

    Roaming

    • To ensure that the Roaming process is streamlined to allow accurate accounting and effective reconciliation with the Financial Clearing House

    Revenue Assurance

    • To effectively drive the implementation of the SA Revenue Assurance Roadmap.

    GL Processing

    • To ensure that the activities required in terms of month-end closure are effectively planned, responsibilities allocated, communicated to stakeholders and monitored by the RTR team to ensure overall
    • reporting deadlines are achieved.

    Leadership & Teamwork

    • Manage the activities of the team, providing coaching and development.

    Innovation & Change

    • Analyse emerging and leading-edge SSC deliveries and ensure on-going evaluation for continued improvement within the RTR function.

    The Ideal Candidate For This Role Will Have

    • Matric - essential
    • Graduate, Accountancy qualified (Chartered Accountant)
    • 10+years’ experience in transactional operational environment
    • End-to-end knowledge of RTR activities, including in-depth knowledge and understanding of Revenue Assurance activities
    • SOX, IFRS and local GAAP knowledge
    • Ability to communicate at all levels (Front line to CEO)
    • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills and within a Global community

    Specialist: Group Technology Assurance

    Role Purpose

    The Specialist: Group Technology Assurance role is based within Technology.
    Role purpose – To provide assurance within Technology across the Vodacom OPCOs covering the areas of Cyber Security and GITC including governance & reporting, independent assurance, risk & control guidance and continuous monitoring of the Risk and Controls environment.

    Your Responsibilities Will Include

    • Perform reviews on technology processes, systems, infrastructure and network infrastructure across the Cyber Security and GITC environments with the aim of proactively enhancing the control environment. Guiding management on recommendations for closure of items found.
    • Control implementation across the Cyber Security and GITC environments within Technology and related processes
    • Conduct internal and external security assurance scans using tools or developing/scripting tools
    • Implementation of Continuous Monitoring techniques across the Cyber Security and GITC environments
    • Travelling to local markets to assist management with governance and risk management


    The Ideal Candidate For This Role Will Have

    • IT Audit, Risk Management or CyberSecurity in large enterprises is required
    • Relevant Frameworks (CISA, SOX, ISO 27001/27002, CISSP) preferable
    • Technical/Infrastructure knowledge is required i.e. detailed knowledge of at least three of the following platforms:,Operating Systems(LINUX, Windows),IT Networks, Firewalls, VPNs,Databases (SQL, Oracle, MySQL etc),GSM Network Infrastructure.
    • Security and Development knowledge is advantageous,Linux Kali and associated tools,Asset discovery techniques,Scripting (Linux bash, JavaScript etc),Python/PHP or other programming languages,Zoning, DDos detection, Web Traffic filtering, Malware, IDPS,Patching, Vulnerability Management, Pen Test techniques
    • Personal attributes required
    • Grasping of technical concepts rapidly and the ability to articulate these concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
    • Strong analytical and documentation skills
    • Good client engagement skills
    • Good interpersonal and presentation skills
    • A relevant IT/Technology Degree (e.g. BSc Computer Science/Engineering, BCom Informatics)
    • Relevant certifications would be advantageous, such as CISA, CISM, CRISK, CISSP, ITIL etc


    Overall Experience 5yrs, Inclusive Of

    • At least 3-5 years’ experience in risk, assurance, controls and compliance management in a technology environment
    • At least 3 years’ experience in Technology Security or a Technology Audit function would be advantageous
    • At least 3 years’ experience in process definition and management would be advantageous.
    • A relevant Technology post graduate degree\diploma will also be an added advantage

    Portfolio Manager Telco Lending 1 1

    Role Purpose

    As Part Of The Broader Vodacom Financial Services Strategy, The Incumbent Will Need To Develop a Portfolio Of Lending Products, Manage Them Through The Stages Of The Telco Lending Products Life Cycle As Well As
    Keep pace with the latest in industry & technology developments as well as the broader regulatory environment
    Foster broader collaboration with other business units, ensuring the payments and remittances complement and leverage Vodacom core telco offering
    Improve the overall revenue contribution and performance of telco lending products

    Your Responsibilities Will Include

    • Management of the existing Airtime Advance Product, maximising growth of the existing business whilst maintaining key metrics around customer ARPU accretion, loss ratios and customer churn
    • Continue to develop and innovate the existing Airtime Advance proposition
    • Utilisation of Airtime Advance analytics as a launch pad for additional lending propositions which will be developed as part of a compelling consumer offering
    • Development of the telco lending marketplace proposition which will span multiple segments
    • Developing all relevant documentation, providing inputs and evaluation for financial business cases, defining business rules and working with customer experience teams to define and refine existing and new customer journeys
    • To do revenue projections and forecasts for revenue and analyse and identify shortfalls and areas of improvement
    • On-going innovation and product development, market trends and also historical data and performance
    • Provide insights to the broader team around innovations and developments within the telco Lending and Fintech industry
    • To regularly review launched products to ensure the performance is in line with initial assumptions and implement corrective measures if needed and also look at how to improve/enhance products
    • Keep track of competitor launches and take measures to mitigate risks
    • Monthly product presentations for an audience consisting of managing executives and senior management


    The Ideal Candidate Will Have

    • Matric essential
    • Relevant 3 year Business degree essential.
    • Minimum of 8 years experience within the Lending industry is essential


    Prior Lending Product Design And Development Experience Is Essential

    • A detailed knowledge understanding of a the fast paced unsecured lending industry is essential
