    Data Modeller

    Job Description

    • To provide expertise, advice and support by executing data modelling standards, principles, frameworks and tools within area of accountability; under guidance and supervision designing and developing of logical and physical data models and databases to meet the needs of the organisation's information systems and business requirements; and coordinate and proritise data modelling within business area.
    • Maintain the data dictionary internal and external to the data model.
    • Maintain the business glossary internal and external to the data model.
    • Optimize and update logical and physical data models to support new and existing projects.
    • Ensure that the source to target mapping is done in accordance with the requirement.
    • Maintain business rules within the data model. Maintain all model related metadata.
    • Develop best practices for standard naming conventions and coding practices to ensure consistency of data models.
    • Recommend opportunities for reuse of data models in new environments.
    • Work with data transformation teams to ensure that the model design and development is properly communicated.
    • Review modifications to existing data modeling software to improve efficiency and performance.
    • Manage the flow of information between departments using the data model design.
    • Assure transformation rules are maintained, accurate and consistent.
    • Validate business data objects for accuracy and completeness.
    • Evaluate data models and physical databases for variances and discrepancies.
    • Control expenditure and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs.
    • Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own development.

    Global Process Lead

    Job Summary

    • As the Global Process Lead for the Attract & Hire value stream, you will play a pivotal role in transforming Human Capital’s operational capabilities. Reporting to Shared Service Transformation Lead, you will lead the design, standardisation, and optimisation of end-to-end hiring processes across multiple business units and regions. Your mission: to embed best practices, drive efficiency, and ensure compliance while delivering exceptional candidate and employee experiences. Collaborating with Centres of Excellence, HC Business Partners, technology, data, and regional teams, you will drive innovation, process excellence, and digital enablement. As the strategic custodian of the Attract & Hire process, you will define global standards, lead continuous improvement, and align operations with business goals.     Are you someone who can:

    • Lead the development and implementation of globally consistent Attract & Hire processes, ensuring alignment with corporate policies, local regulations, and integration with other HC practice areas
    • Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and digital enablers such as AI, automation, and self-service tools to enhance efficiency, reduce cost, and elevate the candidate and employee experience.
    • Maintain process integrity through robust documentation, audits, and risk assessments.
    • Ensure compliance with global labour laws, data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, POPIA), and internal governance standards.
    • Define and track KPIs, leverage data and process mining to identify improvement opportunities, and drive measurable business outcomes through strategic stakeholder engagement.
    • Engage and influence senior stakeholders across business units and regions to embed process excellence.
    • Partner with CoEs, HC Business Partners, IT, and regional teams to align processes with strategic business needs.
    • Champion a culture of process ownership and continuous improvement.
    • Support change management, enable adoption of new tools and practices, and contribute to enterprise-wide transformation and digital agendas.

    You will be an ideal candidate if you have:

    • Minimum Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Process Engineering or a related field
    • Experience in HC (with process optimisation experience), shared services / global business services, or process management
    • Strong understanding of global HC processes, policies, and compliance requirements.
    • Proficient in Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or similar process improvement methodologies is a plus
    • Experience with HC technology platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle) and service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow). Preference for Workday experience
    • Experience in leading cross-functional change initiatives in complex environments.
    • Proven ability to drive measurable business value through process transformation.
    • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across diverse teams.

    Automation and Digital Assets Lead

    Job Description

    • Develop, implement, and manage a technology platform strategy to enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of Group Internal Audit’ (GIA) assurance services from audit planning through completion. 
    • The defined strategy must leverage digital platforms and encompass the creation and administration of a detailed blueprint, ensuring that technology continually drives operational excellence as well as effective, digitally empowered assurance services within GIA.
    • To Lead a multidisciplinary team with expertise in process automation, software development, and internal audit digital platforms.

    • Responsible for developing and implementing support strategies for internal audit digital platforms, automation processes and digital assets across GIA.
    • Develop and uphold a comprehensive change management framework to facilitate the seamless integration of automation and digital initiatives.
    • Foster robust relationships and effective collaboration with the ICT community to ensure that all designed and deployed digital assets and solutions are consistently aligned and compatible with FirstRand Digital and platform strategies.
    • Monitor and report on the performance of automation initiatives after implementation by utilizing key performance indicators and other metrics to assess efficiency improvements and identify opportunities for further optimization.
    • Promote ongoing automation improvements by keeping up with industry trends and best practices by incorporating Best-of-breed and Best-of-suite strategies.
    • Manage vendor relationships and collaborate with external solution providers to ensure the successful implementation of automation tools, digital assets and internal audit platforms.

    You will be an ideal candidate if you have the following:

    • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering; post graduate qualification would be advantageous.
    • Experience working with cloud-based automation solutions and integrating with on premise infrastructure where possible and/or required.
    • At least 8 years in Leading personnel (at a Management Level) with technical skills in software development, process automation. 
    • At least 3 years’ understanding of eGRC platforms.
    • At least 5 years’ experience in cloud platforms preferably Microsoft Azure.
    • At least 5 years’ experience in designing and implementing technology architectures.
    • At least 8 years’ experience in software development and designing and implementation of automation tools and digital platforms.
    • Proficiency in modern development frameworks and DevOps tools.
    • Proficiency in Agile/Scrum frameworks.
    • Budget and resource planning skills.
