    Channel Manager - Drive Products (Modderfontein)

    Your responsibilities

    • Defining and implementing the specified market (global/regional/local) channel sales strategy in accordance with the marketing and sales strategy and ensuring regular follow-up, providing specified market channel strategy input for the Local Channel Manager
    • Defining key targets (e.g., volume, prices, mix) and ensuring these are achieved for the channel in the specified market, ensuring detailed business plans with regular follow up are in place, contributing to negotiations of global frame agreements, supporting Local Channel Manager in the offering and proposal process for channel partners
    • Identifying and evaluating global channel partners together with the Channel Manager and authorizing them in coordination with the sales management team, defining and implementing annual performance assessment and forecasting process for channel partners
    • Coordinating sales and marketing efforts that require channel partner participation, ensuring appropriate communication, promotion and training activities in the channels, drawing policies and relevant standards (e.g. Market Segmentation, Customer Due Diligence, Cyber Security) to be used globally for channel partner evaluation and certification
    • Developing training plans for internal teams in all aspects of channel management, supporting driving strategic partnerships, through developing personal relationships with key partners, customers and other decision makers
    • Ensuring use of relevant standard tools and reporting to relevant internal partner teams, responsible for identifying and managing risks relating to contract agreements and prices across customers/channels, when relevant, cyber security aspects, details to be coordinated with the CS org for the digital solutions
    • Ensuring (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed, coaching, motivating and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies, driving and ensuring know-how sharing and cross-collaboration

    Your background

    • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience
    • Preference will be given to EE candidates

    Production Supervisor - Electrification (Modderfontein)

    Your responsibilities

    • Supervising and managing the day to day running of the manufacturing department, meeting production targets and deadlines, maintaining quality, productivity and efficiency within the manufacturing department
    • Liaising with other departments on quality and production matters, ensuring that all quality checks are performed diligently, ensuring booking of Labor is done weekly and before month end
    • Continuous training of production staff on production matters, participating in all aspects of the production line, including assembly work, calibration and testing of the instruments and their components
    • Receiving and checking inventory from stores, maintaining high levels of quality in all tasks, following works instructions in detail, identifying quality or systems issues and reporting them to the production manager
    • Performing prescribed quality checks correctly and diligently, compliance with quality management system, compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations and ensuring health and safety is maintained at all times
    • Training of workshop employees so as to multi skill the team, maintaining the discipline of subordinates, ensuring house keeping is maintained at a high standard, implement 5S and holding daily production meetings and highlight problem to the production manager

    Your background

    • Grade 12
    • Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing facility and supervisor training
    • Must have experience in steel and copper manufacturing, bending, SAP, reading engineering drawing and have people management experience.
    • Experience in Lean will be beneficial
    • Preference wil be given to EE candidates.
