    Sales Specialist

    Purpose of the Job

    To manage the interface between the organization and industry-specific customers, in addition provide support in order to optimize opportunities sales and maximize growth potential in line with Commercial's plans

    What you'll be doing

    • Proactively increase sales of All Lubricants through existing customers
    • Building a new customer base and identifying opportunities
    • Measuring results against volume plan, budget plan and profitability
    • Creating environment for customers to recommend your service and products
    • Maximizing sales and profitability through achieving and exceeding business plan.
    • You will create strong brand image
    • You will leverage on regional and national opportunities to grow your business.

    What you've done before

    Baseline:

    • NQF level 6 (in Science, Engineering, Business or related)
    • Minimum 3 years sales and technical related experience
    • knowledge of Automotive and Industrial manufacturing environment in South Africa
    • Experience working with Tier 1 clients and executive management.

    Advantageous:

    • 5+ years’ experience in sales and marketing
    • Ability to work individually and successfully in an ever-changing environment and navigate
    • ambiguity
    • Demonstrated ability to self-manage your portfolio and understand the demands of the
    • business environment.
    • Advanced selling technique knowledge, technical skill or desire to acquire same
    • Exciting Challenges you might face in the role
    • Applies knowledge of Lubricants products in the marketplace to advance the organisation’s

    • Driving the Engen brand and products to customers in the automotive and Industrial space.

    Who you are

    • You are highly motivated to maximize sales opportunities in the Automotive and/Industrial industries specifically Indirect Lubricants sales channels.
    • You have built meaningful business relationships with Indirect Lubricant Distributors – E3M, CoOperatives, SDCO, Reseller, High Street & Retail.
    • You are an expert at identifying business opportunities and maintaining customer base.
    • You are passionate about people, relationship building and results.
    • You have excellent interpersonal skills dealing with company directors/ executives,procurements officers and shop floor personnel
    • You have a reputation for providing excellent service, adding value to clients and growing your sales portfolio.

    Merchandise Analyst

    Purpose of the Job

    Provide analytics that supports & informs decision making and is aligned with the achievement of the strategic goals through creating, managing, evaluating, investigating and analyzing data queries relating to category management, optimizing data & frameworks within which the category.

    Management process can effectively operate and engaging with teams and data management, stakeholders to ensure such queries are resolved.

    What you'll be doing

    • Undertake multiple data sources that will deliver actionable insights and recommendations to the merchandising and category teams.
    • Perform accurate data analysis in support of informed decision making within the categories and with a view to improve profits and customer satisfaction indicators across the NFR business.
    • Service ad-hoc requests for information within the required timeframe and specification, with a focus on translating ad-hoc solutions into effective, sustainable solutions.
    • Integrate customer insights data with assortment & space data to provide further.
    • understanding on customer behaviours in order to assist & inform the category management decision making process.
    • Ensure timeous and accurate production of reports through analysis of trends and interpretation, with special emphasis on customer behavior & insights and on space optimisation.
    • Ensure understanding of defined data standards and clearly execute the range of acceptable values and attributes for data.
    • Ensure that business requirements of the end user are properly aligned to agreed data.
    • Governance standards, definitions & calculations, criteria and business processes & standards. 
    • Adhere to formal established processes and take responsibility for leading and supporting the greater business data standards and efforts.
    • Collaborate with other data stewards to resolve issues related to standards and definitions for data elements that cross domains.
    • Collaborate with cross functional teams to assist with analytics within areas such as impact analysis (stock write-downs & reviews), capacity reports & post implementation.
    • Reviews and macro analysis and returns/ performance to ensure effective decision making.
    • Engage with business and IT stakeholders to focus on continuous improvement of information in terms of relevance, quality and speed of delivery. 
    • Ensure data accuracy through monitoring data completeness, integrity and quality to ensure availability of correct information at all times.
    • Ensure compliance to data governance through data cleansing & provision of feedback and taking ownership of data management.
