    Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Platform Manager

    Purpose of Job

    • Lead the definition, creation, thought leadership and provisioning of the SAP/ERP platforms to drive business value and support operations. Manage all SAP Incidents and Service requests.
    • Ensure that all Policies ,Procedure and Standards are adhered to. Manage SAP Licenses and Opex.
    • Manage AMS partner and ensure that the service levels meet the business needs. Accountable for all SAP ITGCs Responsible for the general health (availability and stability) of relevant applications and delivery of all contracted services.

    Recruitment Description / Key Accountabilities

    • Responsible for all the SOX tests in the ERP platform to ensure that they are well executed to prevent risks and audit findings.
    • Provide input to the strategic direction for Platforms in terms of providing clear north star vision for Sasol’s business and technology.
    • Work with Enterprise Architects, Senior Solution Architects and technology partners to ensure alignment of IM Platform visions and roadmaps with IM strategy and target Enterprise Architecture and Vendor Management.

    Design and Optimisation Specialist

    Purpose of Job

    • To provide Chemicals Africa Supply Chain with the information and technical support required to enable business optimization.

    Section Engineer

    Purpose of Job

    Ensuring profitability by coordinating maintenance resources and personnel for the appointed area to ensure that production machines and equipment are available to sustain continuous production of coal and meet production targets at the lowest possible cost. 

    This is to be executed within the principles of QCDSM. Carries a 2.13.3.1 legal appointment for the mine. 

    The incumbent holds a Mining Government Certificate of Competence (GCC) and must apply the law utilising knowledge, experience and skill to interpret and the law and make correct decisions. 

    To improve business objectives sustainably at sub assembly level, at machine level, at systems level and concept level, including machine, people, process and standards.

    Recruitment Description / Key Accountabilities
    (Safe Production) – Ensure engineering maintenance strategies and overhaul plans are implemented that will optimise sweating of assets to reduce total cost of ownership – deliver maintenance, if and when to replace / repair equipment 

    •  Maintenance cost vs R/t in appointed area 
    •  Maintenance budget – actual vs. budget 
    •  Availability of Equipment Downtime / shift / MTTF /MTTR (infrastructure and in-section equipment)

    Miner : Section Belts

    Purpose of Job

    • To achieve defined performance targets in section through building of operator capabilities and planning, organizing and controlling the day-to-day Mining activities.

    Recruitment Description / Key Accountabilities

    • Manage crew to meet production targets 
    • Manage safety, health and environmental issues in section 
    • Ensure competence of crew 
    • Demonstrate continuous drive to improve 
    • Act as Relieving Shift Boss at times 
    • Manage more complex mining activities
