    Healthcare Receptionist | Onrus

    We are looking for an organised and professional Receptionist to manage the front of house in the healthcare at our Onrus Manor facility which is situated near Hermanus.

    Duties will include, but not be limited to:

    • Welcome and greet all visitors into the healthcare in a courteous manner
    • Answer all telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner
    • Direct calls promptly, efficiently and courteously
    • Receive and convey messages in writing, verbally and electronically to the relevant person timeously
    • Open, stamp and distribute all incoming mail appropriately daily
    • Ensure communication in the Healthcare facility is conducted in a professional manner
    • Check Shift Leader's communication diary for appointments, messages, instructions and convey to relevant departments / personnel daily
    • Keep the Duty Station neat and clean at all times
    • Ensure all administrative duties relating to the efficient running of the Duty Station is completed accurately and timeously
    • Attend to all deliveries, queries, maintenance and sub-contractors entering the healthcare unit
    • Assist with billing and charge sheets
    • Collect payments from patients upon discharge
    • Assist the Healthcare Administrator in her duties to ensure professional running of the facility when required

    Requirements

    • Matric
    • Computer literate (Google Docs advantageous)
    • Previous experience as Receptionist
    • Strong administration skills
    • Professional communication skills and telephone etiquette
    • Experience in hospital/medical environment advantageous
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Neat, professional and presentable
    • Customer service orientated

    Staff Nurse - Tokai Sub Acute

    • We are seeking an experienced Staff Nurse at Tokai Estate. This 60 bed fully accredited sub-acute facility provides high quality care to patients of all ages.
    • This high end facility is located near the Blue Route Mall and in close proximity to all major transport routes.

    • Skills and Attributes - Strong interpersonal skills, professional communication, ability to work under pressure, managerial skills, making sound decisions, computer literate, professional, focused, fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English, well spoken, neat, compassion for the elderly, be able to converse with people on different levels - staff, families, MDT and other professionals coming into the facility.
    • Working Hours - Normal working days are Monday to Sunday, according to the roster. You will be required to work 16.25 shifts per month. Day shifts will be worked between 07h00 to 19h00 and night shifts between 19h00 and 07h00

    • Skills and Attributes - Strong interpersonal skills, professional communication, ability to work under pressure, managerial skills, making sound decisions, computer literate, professional, focused, fluent in English, proactive, organisational skills, be able to converse with people on different levels - staff, families, MDT and other professionals coming into the facility. The incumbent should be well presented and professional.
    • Working Hours - Normal working days are Mondays to Sundays, according to the roster. You will be required to work 16.25 shifts per month. Day shifts will be worked between 07h00 to 19h00 and night shifts between 19h00 and 07h00.
